My daughter’s Ford Fusion had a recall for the passenger side airbag, it seems that if it deploys, it could cause bodily harm or death to the passenger. This recall has been on the books for a while so I made sure that for the last 6-9 months, none of her friends were allowed to sit in the front seat. Letter from Ford comes in that it’s time to schedule the repairs because the parts are in. I call crossroads and schedule for the following Wednesday. Drop the car off in the morning and get picked up to go to work. Get a call 2 hours later, car is ready (that was fast, I’m pleased). Pick up the car, the advisorcwalks me out, I ask him if everything is ok, he says (I’m paraphrasing) yes it’s all good, we replaced one thing but we need another part to finish. I ask, SO ITS SAFE TO HAVE A PASSENGER IN THE FRONT.......he replies, yes it’s perfectly safe. I leave and head home, tell my daughter she’s good for passengers. The Friday night it occurred to me he never gave me a copy of the work done so I figure I’ll head in Saturday morning and get one. The advisor is not there so I speak to a second one, I explain I’d like a copy of the work done. He checks the computer and looking at his expression I know something is not right. Turns out nothing was done ****They didn’t have the part on wednesday*****. You’re kidding me right?? Thankfully they had the part then and got the car fixed that day. The original advisor told me it was safe to have a passenger in the front seat when knowing full well it wasn’t. I’m not sure how anybody else feels about that but it was a huge deal to me. Putting people’s life at risk....seriously? He could have just said, I’m sorry but we don’t have the part.......I wouldn’t have been happy but I would have set another appointment. Firstly don’t set appointments when the part isn’t in and MORE IMPORTANTLY don’t tell people that a part was changed making a life threatening defect safe when it clearly isn’t. Hopefully I was the only one told that. UPDATE ***** The service manager called to apologize for the situation. I would like to think that this is not the way things normally go there and to be fair they did get it fixed within 90 minutes on the Saturday. However....... 2ND UPDATE****** They wanted to make things right and offered a free oil change. Very underwhelming when you keep in mind it was a recall because of possible injury or death. They offered a couple more oil changes to which I replied thank you but I’ll pass. It is hard to take it seriously when a life could be on the line and it didn’t seem like a big deal other than the review being taken down. More

This Corporation harbors thieves. The Ford location in Kernersville, NC stole parts off my truck and tried to put used parts from a local auto salvage on my truck. I was charged for the used part and had to replace the parts when I finally got my truck to Tn by transport. The corporate people are as big as liars as the thieves in the service department. The guy that owns these dealerships claims to be a Christian, but this is not how Jesus does things. That road to heaven shall be straight and narrow. Stealing from your fellow man and singing in the choir on Sunday is probably not what Jesus meant. This make and model has tons of transm Vehicle in for third time with the same problem. Repair staff said the transmission just needed to be tweeked. This make and model has tons of transmission recalls. That was the first visit and they kept it 5 days. Second time they said they couldn’t get it to repeat the problem which is... after coming to a stop it doesn’t engage into drive gear, the car stays running but it will not move. This is an intermittent problem. They kept it one day. I have now been in the middle of busy intersections unable to move. I have learned to shut off the car and restart it once or twice to get it to reset. The third time which is current ; it disengaged 5 times in 5 miles of heavy bumper to bumper traffic. Then it was fine for 15 miles to the dealership?? Each time Im told i will get a call to update me... i dont get one unless I call. The transmission light went on the first time this happened but it just needed tweeking? I am not being updated, i have no transportation, I don’t know if i need to rent a car, i have to ask friends for rides. My car is unsafe and i am in danger of being injured..., i feel unheard. I have made accommodations for their schedule in several instances. I am now feeling taken advantage of! More
