check engine light on I have a 2015 F150 XLT. My check engine light came on in June, went off in July and returned to on in August. I scheduled service for 9-5 at 2 pm. I have a 2015 F150 XLT. My check engine light came on in June, went off in July and returned to on in August. I scheduled service for 9-5 at 2 pm. I left the house at 1 pm, arrived 20 minutes early explained the problem and the codes I read from my personal OBD2 analyzer. The dealer confirmed the code P2450 but after an hour and a half said they were unable to diagnose the F150 because the Ford website was down. I arrived home ~4 pm - this was a wasted trip as they have the vehicle data and information but sent me on my way with the check engine light is still on and no resolution. They said they are going to call me for another visit / analysis? Just thought that this review may help others with Cronin Ford because in my mind if the task is not simple maintenance it appears it cannot be handled. More

NEW GIRL ON DECK I have been coming to Cronin Ford since 2012, when I bought my new car. I have dealt with most of the customer service people (men) in the service department, who all do a good job. I was surprised to see a very nice woman in the service department. She knew her stuff, and was extremely positive and friendly. Her customer service skills were GREAT. She showed me what was wrong with my brakes, and used a prop to show me and explained why I should get new back brakes as soon as possible. I have worked in customer service for 30 years, and straight commission sales for 10 years. I was sales manager for 4 years. If I was still in sales, I would have tried to steal Vanessa from you. That's how good she really is. I look forward to coming back to Cronin Ford, just to watch her in action. You have a Great asset in Vanessa. Hold on to her. Also, her name is not listed below. She would get 6 or 7 stars. Love sold me the car in 2012. More

The only thing I would suggest is to be given more updates on the timeline and estimated day/time the car should be ready for pickup. 2012 Focus Transmission Recall Took in 2012 Focus in for the TCM recall, repair and received a 500.00 repair bill at end of process. We were told that the transmission had extended Took in 2012 Focus in for the TCM recall, repair and received a 500.00 repair bill at end of process. We were told that the transmission had extended 100,00 mile warranty do to poor construction, car only has 83,000 miles on it. Cronin called and told us that the transmission actuator was bad and it is considered a wearable part in the transmission that will take two hours labor to fix. It is my understanding that the actuator needs to be removed to replace clutch. Hmmmm? We asked for explanation and were told that we would get a call back when they get an answer. I am still waiting for an answer. My daughter picked up the car up and got no explanation given to her. We left feeling less than happy with the entire experience. I would avoid making the same mistake as us! More
