Really disappointed that Nissan refused to extend the warranty on my failed Evap canister. It is clearly an engineering manufacturers defect. I’ve researched the issue and apparently it is common and the warranty for this particular defect has been extended to 15 year and 150,000 miles on some Nissan Models but unfortunately not my vehicle. The evap cannister was completely filled with water. Shame on Nissan! I’ll go back to purchasing Honda or Acura. They definitely stand behind their manufacturers errors! Disappointed that the dealership didn’t go to bat for me on an issue that is clearly a well documented issue with multiple Nissan models. As they say the buyer beware.
