Took a 2011 Cruze in for warranty work and tire replacement. When they returned the car to me, I immediately saw the huge dent in the driver's side, obviously caused by a misplaced lift arm. Raised it to the attention of the service manager, Matt Ingson, who blew me off -- said they had no idea what happened. Then I saw the tire they replaced, and the rubber and damage to the wheel. I would have been better taking it to a Jiffy Lube. Dealer did nothing to remedy the damage, and refused to talk to me. Oh well -- off to my insurance, let them fight with the dealer. Thank goodness for a $0 comprehensive deductible! DO NOT take your car here for service, and if you do take before and after pictures, or else, like me, you will feel awfully dumb when you have to fix the dealer's damage. More

Edited Customer Service from 3 to 1 , and Overall Experience from 2 o 1, after the dealer management contacted me to resolve the problem, then reneged. ** ---------------------------- Sales Experence Great, Service Experence Poor I should point out that my new car buying experience could not have been better with Criswell. I ordered my new camaro on the 1st day of ordering, and entire year before they hit the streets, I have camaro #8 My experience with the Service dept was initially very good, but it deteriorated and now I find myself very unhappy. Criswell even idnoted the BBB inquirey and as a result it took their rating from a D+ down to an F (you can find this on the BBB website) My complaint is two fold. 1) the drivers seat warmer that may never have worked from the beginning, and a rear end noise that I broight in for repair, paid for a repair, and the noise was still there. Regarding the seat. Service was aware of the issue while it was in its warrantee period, but I did not want to bring it in till I had another service to deal with. Criswell did not seem to mind saying they could still fix it after the warrantee period, bit when a simple seat heared turned out to be a ridiculous $1000 they wanted me to then pay half! (for a seat warmer!) I declined, so its still broken. And why would bot the back and bottom warmers be broken (or never worked) at the same time? The 2nd was the rear end noise. I brought in the car ahead of time so service could test drive it. They said they had an idea of what it was and there was a service bulletin on it. I was led to believe it was under warrantee. A few days later I was called and asked to pay $156 to change out the fluid and that would positively fix it. They said its maintenance and needs to be done first. I said I’m a mechanical Engineer and I have a hard time beliving that. The interval for this service is 100,000 miles, and I had apx 53,000. They said the DC area should be considered severe service area and as such the intervial is 59,000 miles. I would need to pay this first. I agreed because they would not touch it otherwise. When it was fixed they told me it had been test driven and all was good. I came in, paid the bill and no sooned had I moved 50 feet in the car, there was the noise! I went and grabbed the service agent Dina and she had the lead mechanic ride with me in the car. He confirmed it was still there, and just started providing excuses. He suggested replacing the brakes. (even though the 50 point inspection showed them to be in allowable limits). He said the tread wear on one tire was more than the other (I had replaced one) . I replied that the noise had been there before the tire change and I did not see how a new one would change the situation. I left in utter disgust with the relivation that they did not have a clue what they were doing over there! I like the Criswell Organization, but this has really left a bad taste in my mouth. More

Criswell of Gaithersburg is where my dealings with my 2005 H2 Hummer started in late 2007 and is where I continue to service my Hummer. From the sales team on down to the service department, the staff at Criswell treats me with excellent customer service through friendliness and service quality. Dina Benedict, my Hummer H2 service manager, is one of the best. Dina keeps me informed of all service work and professional recommendation. Dina and the staff at Criswell never attempt to conduct a service to gain a buck but rather to cater to specific vehicle needs and customer satisfaction. Although the problem with the vehicle was definitely disconcerting, the service department remained confident that it would be taken care of, and after numerous tries it was indeed. Since 1995, we have selected Criswell Chevrolet for their prompt and professional service we have always received in the service department as well as the sales department. We would recommend the service and sales department to anyone in need of repairs or a new car or truck. We bought our 2008 Chevy Silverado truck and plan on buying our next Chevy truck from Criswell very soon. We have always received fair pricing whether it be the sales department with Richard Beckett or in the service department with Nick Chapman and Bill Hankins and other Criswell staff. We have all of our fleet vehicles including gm vehicles and ford vehicles, etc serviced by Criswell. We are very satisfied with the performance of these individuals and the mechanic staff. They have always acted as a team. We have recommended to other companies and personal friends to use Criswell Chevrolet. We have always received courtesy calls after all service visits which is very outstanding to achieve the quality level of service they deserve. We have enjoyed the shuttle service for pickup and drop off of our employees to and from Criswell which has been an added benefit and a time saver, etc. We have also appreciated the service department for repairing our vehicles on short notice such as installing new batteries in our Chevy truck just prior to closing which has been an blessing so we can keep our employees on the road and minimize downtime while having the vehicles serviced in the evening hours vs during the work daytime hours. Criswell has always made our fleet vehicles a priority while in the service department as to get the vehicles in and out on time. Keep up the great work!! My problems with the dealer started after I rode off the lot. I had an issue with a new car that clearly was not put there by me. The sales guy let me hang for days and eventually I got a call from the service guy. I sent in pictures of the issue and I was made to feel like this was somehow my doing. I was told by the service guy that he would get back to me but after a few more days, no one contacted me. When I finally got tired of waiting, I went to GM for a resolution. GM pointed me to Apple Valley Chevrolet. When the selling dealer (Criswell), got wind of this, they called and acted like they were doing me a favor by offering to correct the problem. No thanks. I went to Apple Valley Chevrolet and within 15 minutes they had me taken care of, performed the repair, and treated me as if I purchased the vehicle from them. Thank you Apple Valley, you run a top notch operation and I will be back to you for all of my needs in the future. I was later approached by my salesman asking about the incident. He pointed the finger back at the service guy. Whatever, customer service is the job of everyone there, not just the service guy. I sent an e-mail to the general manager detailing my incident, but never heard back. Fast forward to today when I got an invite to leave feedback about my experience. Well here ya go fellas. Enjoy the feedback. I will never return to the dealership again. More
I had a 9:30 appointment and did not have to wait when I pulled into the dealership. Car was taken immediately and I waited in Criswell's remodeled customer lounge. That's to GM Card rewards, my bill was minimal. Love that program. More
