The car overall is a good car with a few issues here or there but every time we call we for what ever reason get Mo and constantly get hung up on. He is very rude! One time we called in to follow up on our car and he provided us with the fee we needed to pay if we wanted it fixed, we where going on vacation and couldn't pay that to get it fixed so we told him we will bring it at a later date to have it taken care of. . his response? "well why do you have extended warranty if you don't use it? I can remove it if you want since you don't want to use it" WAIT WHAT?!?!?! I was livid! I cannot believe those words came out of a service tech. . . He is the sole reason we purchased or 2015 Chevy Silverado from another dealer. . . an easy $60K sake they could have had but I refuse to deal with their service techs again with any other car. . . It truly is a shame because the sale experience was amazing (of course they want your money) but once the car is purchased is all downhill from there. . . More

Excessive charges to replace tire, rim and tpms I had my Volt towed to Criswell to replace a damaged tire, rim and tpms. Criswell provided an estimate of over $800. Their estimated cost for the rim I had my Volt towed to Criswell to replace a damaged tire, rim and tpms. Criswell provided an estimate of over $800. Their estimated cost for the rim and tpms hardware was over $500. I obtained both items online for under $200. I provided both parts to Criswell. I then paid close to $300 for a new tire and labor. While the charge of about $140 on the tire was reasonable, the labor charge was well outside the labor estimates I obtained from nearby Chevrolet dealers and tire centers. I elected to have Criswell complete the job because, as the Criswell staff correctly pointed out to me, the $100 cost I would have had to pay to tow the vehicle to a new location all but eliminated any savings. Based on this experience -- which I attribute solely to Criswell management -- I will not use Criswell service ever again. More

I had an appointment setup for 8:00 clock. I got to the shop at 07:45. Work on my car was not supposed to take more than an hour. After two hours waiting I inquired about my car and he had no clue why my car hasn't been attended. He told me it hasn't been worked on yet and will be ready in 20 minutes. What the heck he was doing for last two hours. It's a weekday so it wasn't even busy. If they didn't have time to work on a recall which they have been calling me about from past two weeks to get fixed then why make me take an appointment. They didn't even have courtesy to apologize. When I asked for the manager. He told me Nick Chapman is the manager he was equally unapologetic about the issue. He didn't care that I was waiting for two hours and nothing has been done to my car or they could have informed me that it will not be ready soon so I have made my arrangements differently. More

Upon arriving I was greeted by multiple staff members and was assisted right away. They helped me fill out the paperwork and gave me all the details on what to expect. Once finished at the service center they shuttled me to the nearest enterprise location so that I could pick up my rental. The gentleman driving the shuttle was such a sweet older gentleman, he opened the doors for me upon entering and exiting the van and chatted with us as we drove, chivalry is not dead! I would recommend The Gaithersburg Criswell location again and again. Thank you for all your help! More

The things we've put it through, and it keeps on going, like a little tank. We've never had to do any service beyond routine, so I figured at 142,xxx miles it was time some things were going to need some attention. It was making some vibrations when I was braking, which seemed not so safe, and since summer is here, it's vacation time! And I want to be prepared and safe on the roads. Turned out, finally, the car needed new brakes. Bam. Done. Two of the tires had been replace some time ago, and the other two needed replacing now. Bam. Done. I believe strongly in taking care of my vehicles, (Nick Chapman can attest to that!), and Criswell has seen all them! Nick and his team have always been upfront and honest with any repair my cars needed, and worked with me to get the work done, in order of importance, if I needed to know what was wrong and what would happen if I didn't fix it (fyi: if they tell you you need it fixed, fix it.They are not going to lie to you). Needless to say, I haven't ever not done a recommended repair. I trust Criswell 100%. I can't ever thank Nick Chapman enough for the years of excellent customer care he's provided me and my family. I have been very fortunate in life to have such great people surround me: Nick happened along after Ellen left (much missed!) who also took unbelievable care of my needs. I can't rave enough about the quality of staff you employ. Criswell! Nick! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! More

The first time I did not receive a survey, probably because of the horrible service and inconvenience I received. They broke a part in my car trying to find out what the problem was. I had to bring my car back at least three times before they gave up and called Chevy to walk them through finding out what the problem was. I was without my car for a week. When I called to complain, I got a feeling that this happens all the time. I fought with myself for a week about bringing my brand new car to Criswell for service. It’s the only local Chevy dealer in the area. They did not break anything. I brung my car in at 9am for an oil change and to get my truck latch fixed. Took them 4 hours!! And they left black sticky stuff all over my 2014 Chevy Camaro trunk and bumper. Had to ask someone to whip it off. More
