Use caution and thoroughly check your vehicle especially any customizations. I’ve had a repeat issue with service department. They have taken or damaged my center caps from my 23 MDX Type S twice. On the recent visit they removed the Acura emblem on one and removed and replaced with another cap from another vehicle (grey). My center caps were custom painted Satin Black to match wheels. My guess is someone liked them. They have previously replaced them the first time this happened and on this recent issue have not responded. Included pictures to show Center Cap as I brought the vehicle in and then the swap and removed emblem when I got it back. This in addition to me not being made aware that technicians refused to rotate my tires stating that they don’t touch them because they are “painted”. I am now out of pocket for a tire rotation and having replacement Center Caps painted. Adding to list of problems: Deep scratch on rear passenger side molding. Attempted to fix with touch up paint. I was not told or made aware. Emails sent to Service Manager and General Manager with no response. Acura has been notified. Update: response received My emblem may have fell off while driving. I’m guessing one must’ve also changed color while driving. Current list of expenses from my last service at Criswell Acura: - Tire rotation - New Center Caps being ordered and painted - attempted repair on a deep scratch in my rear passenger side modeling that touch up paint was applied) same side that had the missing emblem from my center caps. Repair did not work. Did receive a call back from Steve Savage GM that was a voicemail. Returned call and waiting to hear back. Update: 12/18 - GM Steve Savage left me a voicemail offered to reimburse me and to work to build trust back. Texted to confirm what he meant by reimbursement and how he planned to address the warranty requests that had no action. 12/19- GM Steve Savage in a voicemail now stating “that is a lot to happen in 3 hours” and “he doesn’t think trust can be rebuilt”. “Try another dealership and hopefully they can meet your needs because we obviously couldn’t”. “We are closing the case and moving on”. Looks like I’ll continue to work with Acura directly since this dealership’s leadership is refusing to provide Customer Service. More

Bought a used acura certified 2020 rdx. ... I have driven less than 5k miles... The vehicle required... Oil change (expected) air filters, alignment,transmission flush and 4 new tires.... DO ... If I could give them no stars I would. I’m from NY. A friend was using my car for the weekend. My car was towed here. It wasn’t starting but all the lights, a/c, and everything came on. Now I keep up maintenance on my car which you can tell by all the service paperwork in the glovebox. So I know it was in tip top shape. My first thought was battery. Maybe it needed a jump or something. Tried jumping it. That didn’t work. So when it finally gets to Criswell, they analyze it and find out the starter went bad. It’s covered by warranty so I was happy. My car was supposedly done on Friday but they wanted to keep it to run test. Apparently the main mechanic isn’t in on the weekend but if you’re just running test I don’t know why my car had to stay for 2 more days. But anyway, Monday comes they say the car is ready. I make my way there from NY. I get there by 6:30pm, pay, and get ready to leave. Get in the car. Car won’t start. So now I’m livid. My car was here for a week, was kept for 2 extra days, I just drove 3 hours, and now my car isn’t starting. By that time everyone was gone but the cashier and she leaves at 7:45. We tried jumping it again nothing and I knew it was the battery because there was no sparks when the terminals were connected. I also got an alert on my phone saying that the car was running on the backup battery, which I didn’t know I had. I had to stay the night just so I could be here the next morning and make sure my car leaves that day. I was told they put a new battery in but they said that still didn’t work. Eventually they figured it out and I was on my way back. Wednesday car was good. This morning the car was good. I go out to move it to the other side of the street and the car doesn’t start. So at this point I’m beyond pissed. I call to speak to Dave who serviced me, btw their service over the phone sucks. Everytime you call to talk to service, no one ever picks up and no ones ever there. Everytime I had to call 5 or more times just to talk to someone. The receptions act like they can’t walk over to service to make sure the call is answered it’s literally right next door. Anyway, FINALLY speak to Dave and he proceeds to tell me he took the new battery out because it didn’t do anything. So let’s back track you tested the original battery, you knew it had a low reading but since it passed the test you kept it in the car, put a new battery in, complained about how you had to use money out of your pocket to do that, all for you to take the battery out because it didn’t do anything for the car. So I had to go buy a battery, put it in myself, and guess what??? The car started with no problems. Btw I’m a female doing all this on my own. So it was the battery as I expected. To top it all off, the old battery had corrosion from both terminals and he still put it back in the car and let me go home with it. Their motto is would you let your family drive this car? The answer is of course they would. More
