When the check engine light came on I was taken in without an appointment and the defective item was replace The service team is awesome to deal with. When the check engine light came on I was taken in without an appointment and the defective item was replace. Then when it came on again they keep our car and give me a loaner to drive until they could find out what was wrong. It turn out the the new sensor that was replaced. The new sensor turn out to be defective and they replaced the it with a new one and now the car is fixed and runs great. A big thank to Shawn and the service team More
Excellent service department My wife and I were passing through Charleston on our way back home to Idaho, and I knew it was about time to replace the rear brake pads on our 2017 O My wife and I were passing through Charleston on our way back home to Idaho, and I knew it was about time to replace the rear brake pads on our 2017 Outback. The original pads were still in the car at 82,000, so we were pleased about that. Anyway, we were able to make a same-day appointment on Crew's website this morning and brought in the car at 2 pm as scheduled. We were back on the road just a few minutes after 3 pm! The cost was a very reasonable (and competitive) $185 plus tax. Our service adviser Jonathan was excellent - and even let us know the front brake pads were doing great; did not need replacement. We spend the month of November in Charleston each year, and it's good to have Crew Subaru in town. More
Service department is a joke. My car is consuming oil and the service department is way overfilling my engine with oil about an inch over the full mark. They did this 3 times the last time I brought it in fo the service department is way overfilling my engine with oil about an inch over the full mark. They did this 3 times the last time I brought it in for service. They washed the car and tried to brush me off. I am now ordering a new dipstick. They say it may be incorrect, because they use metered electronic oil pumpers and regularly calibrate them. Also, because I bought the car used. I bought it from my grandmothers estate. Why would she change the dipstick? I have yet to do the consumption test, because the oil beeper in the car hasn't gone off yet. 2700 miles later and the level has dropped 1/2 an inch. Of course it won't go off when it's overfilled by an inch! I understand that sometimes there are flaws in manufacturing and recalls happen, but why try to disguise this by way overfilling my engine? I'm not drinking the kool-aid. You can't fool me. I know what overfilling a crankcase does and I know what burning oil does to emissions systems. Other than that, the car is a Billy Goat. It will take you where you need to go. Even up a snowy mountain. Rides good, handles good, and gets good mileage. My old, raggy, abused Ford with 250,000 miles doesn't even burn oil, but my well-taken-care-of, dealer-only serviced, Japanese Subaru with 53,000 miles does. The oil burning doesn't upset me near as much as the service advisor trying to fleece me. More

Wish I'd been told of the lease maintenance fee. The service work was fine. The oil change and check were promptly completed and the staff members were friendly and warm. After leasing a Subaru for 3 years, with complimentary maintenance every 6000 miles, I was not told I would have a maintenance fee for my 2018-2021 lease. I could have found an oil change for $20. More

Being the closest Subaru dealership, we called that evening and spoke with Matt Davis, who was delightful to speak with. He scheduled her for first thing the next day - a busy Saturday! Not only did they diagnose the problem but they were able to do the work by late that afternoon. He also helped educate us to outstanding recall issues that needed to be addressed once the car was back home. Don’t hesitate to use Crews for all your car service needs! More
