Unacceptable customer service We were referred to Crews Chevrolet by our insurance company after my vehicle got side swiped. The collision center has kept us in the dark the entire time my car has been there for repairs. My car was received February 1st and we were quoted for the car only to be there 11 days. My husband has had to call multiple times this month to get a status update on when my car will be ready and he either receives no call back or the time line gets pushed back with no explanation. We have been kept in the dark about additional repairs. I found out Friday afternoon that there was an addendum to the repairs that they didn't notify us about before completing those repairs. Being the owners of the car this is unacceptable! The bank doesn't own this vehicle, we do! Crews chevy should be keeping customers informed about what they are doing to their personal property prior to the service being done. Friday when I finally got somebody to answer I was told it was being painted then was supposed to be completed by today. At that time I recieved the information that additional repairs were done to my vehicle without being notified, and no good explanation of why the process is taking so long except for it took longer for parts to come in and the additional repairs. Again, something we should have been notified of, being that this is a business and they are receiving insurance money to provide a service to my family. Today my husband goes to pick up my car after receiving notification that it was finally completed 22 days later and they have completely screwed up the paint color. They were going to let it leave the dealership that way!! My husband had to point out the blatant mis match. I was told the car got painted on Friday-Saturday so how no one noticed within 5 days that my car was painted incorrectly (flat bright white when its original color is pearl white) is beyond me. Shouldn't a manager or quality/safety be checking vehicles before they leave the collision center and customers get calls that they're vehicles are ready for pick up?!? It was extremely noticeable. I would not recommend using their collision center due to the lack of communication, inefficiency, poor customer service and lack of quality. I will also be calling USAA to notify them of the horrible experience we've had with the company that they recommended. I would leave zero stars if it was an option. We're praying to God that the repairs done are legitimate and they didn't cut corners or overlook anything with the repair quality like the obvious paint mis-match, time frame quote and the repair addendum. More
