Great service I had scheduled at Ganley for my recalls, but went to Cresmont on accident.i thought I made sure because I do not like Gan. Helpless repair service After 3 months of push back and denial of a problem, we were finally able to get it fixed finally through Classic Hyundai Mentor. Crestmont Hyundai After 3 months of push back and denial of a problem, we were finally able to get it fixed finally through Classic Hyundai Mentor. Crestmont Hyundai service manager has an email with their diagnosis attached. He took care of me… AWD is not functioning. I have numerous videos of evidence of it slipping and not engaging in different circumstances. They recommended alignment and new tires. I am lied to and sent home with a defective AWD system (invoice stating the AWD is working as intended). Reason being is "I do not understand how AWD works". He explained to me numerous times how AWD works in a complicated way, how I didn't press the right buttons in the right sequence... and so much more. He had me test the car in snow, in front of him, because the videos were not relevant. He admitted the car had only one front wheel spinning. Two and a half weeks later I dropped the car off after finally being offered a loaner… 3 days later he calls and says the car is ready to be picked up. That particular day we had 50+ degrees and sunny, but he found snow and ice and tested the car. He concluded the AWD was working fine. I tested the car when I got home, no AWD (he has videos). All of this... because there are no 4-wheel dynos available for testing in real world conditions. It is sad to see people like him in this position. He was able to convince Hyundai Field tech and my case manager that my car is fine after originally agreeing there was a problem. Almost like I was just a headache for him. To say the least... I had higher expectations from him; he is the expert. At Classic, the service manager didn't have to get involved. The adviser was able to help me. In 3 hours, we were on our way back home with a fully functioning car. More
