In October, 2013, I was in the market for a new car, but couldn't find anything I liked. I had visited KIA of Bedord and test-drove an Optima, but wasn't happy with the ride. I also visited Marshall Ford of couldn't find anything I liked. I had visited KIA of Bedord and test-drove an Optima, but wasn't happy with the ride. I also visited Marshall Ford of Mayfield and test-drove a Fusion, but wasn't impressed with the vehicle. My husband noticed the Collection Buick sign while driving home one day and said we should take a ride to see if I liked anything they had on their lot. We visited their facility in Beachwood on a weekend and were immediately greeted by Kevin Weiss, who made us feel at home and went out of his way to find exactly the car I wanted (even though I really wasn't sure what I wanted!) Everyone at Collection Buick GMC of Beachwood was extremely friendly and the state of the art facility is clean, beautiful and inviting. My husband and I were truly impressed by the whole experience. And our sales professional, Kevin, was over the top! He was instrumental not only in finding the car of my dreams (2014 Buick LaCross), but in finalizing the sale. Kevin possessed vast knowledge of the vehicle as well as features that could be added to the vehicle (if we wanted something that wasn't already on it). Not only was Kevin very accommodating with his time and made us feel like royalty, he explained the Collection group's fabulous attitude in regard to customer service, which clinched the deal! We came to this dealership after visiting another one, not realizing they closed early on the night we visited. Scott Newman stayed with us for an hour and a half after the dealership closed, showing us not realizing they closed early on the night we visited. He suggested we take the vehicle home with us overnight to see how it drove and then bring it back the next evening after work. Went to trade in my 2007 SUV & purchase a 2013 SUV. Found one car & the deal was within my price range. Called Ethan the next day to see if there was the same model with an upgrade package in the same Found one car & the deal was within my price range. I believe the only problem was on the day we arranged to purchase and pick-up the car. I believe the agency was short-staffed that day because we were told that the sales persons worked as a team and that purchase and pick-up the car. Ethan, however, was involved with another customer that was taking a lot of time. This was not a problem for us. If we were turned over to another team member it would have been fine, or if Ethan had merely told us about the fact that the customer was consuming his time, and instead of us waiting for him we should come back, that would also have been fine. But instead, we waited for about 2 hours without being helped. We were patient, but when we finally had the opportunity to view the car it was not cleaned up. It came from another dealer and had not been prepped. We then left and intended to come back another day. Ethan called my cell phone when we drove home and apologized. We accepted his apology and came back the next day to conclude the purchase. Ethan was fine and did a good job. Tom, the finance manager was great, very friendly and upfront about all the finance arrangements. We had one bad experience but everything worked out for the best. We don't hold grudges and my wife runs a service business so she knows what can happen. I do think that some other sales person or manager should have stepped in to help us instead of making us wait so long. I actually fault the manager, not Ethan, because he was caught in the middle. Maybe he should have consulted with the manager to notify him we were waiting too long to be served. But, the dirty car was the icing on the cake. This was not Ethan's problem because he was surprised as well. More
