170 dollars for nothing done. I decided to take my 2008 ford focus into Crest ford to have a engine vibration fixed. It has around 85,000 miles on it and I personally changed all I decided to take my 2008 ford focus into Crest ford to have a engine vibration fixed. It has around 85,000 miles on it and I personally changed all 3 OEM motor mounts myself just before taking it to Crest. After I changed them at home I still had the same type of engine vibration as before. So I made my appointment and had Crest look at it. I dropped it off and 1 day later got a call saying it was done. They told me they adjusted my new motor mounts. Nothing else was done to the car. I went to pick it up, but before signing paperwork I took it for a test drive. It had the same vibration after they finished the car. I got a hold of the service manager and had him test drive it to. He agreed that the car was not right. I left it another day to have it worked on again. I got a call the next day from service manager saying the car needed a 50 dollar PCM reflash to fix the vibration. I agreed to the reflash cost and about 5 hours later got a call saying it was finished and ready to pick up. I got dropped off to pick my car up again. I test drove the car and it was exactly the same as before they worked on it. I argued that I was not happy and they told me that was the best it was going to get. They charged me 170 bucks for absolutely nothing. I was extremely pissed and told them they will never see me again. I have told every single person about how I was treated and I know I have personally stopped a few people from using Crest ford for service or sales. They lost a lot of potential money from people that I persuaded not to visit this location. More
We were taken into ken Woods office to sign papers, and can you beleive it he was trying to jam us for $699.00 for some kind of wheel and tire warranty! Had a $700 repair done (smart junction box replaced) and then less than 2 weeks later the car died and the cause is the smart junction box has broken "clips" that push it together during installation. They charged us for a new battery(less than 2 years old) and said the box has to be replaced and it is not their problem. Do not have your car repaired here...anywhere else would be better! They take no responsibility for their mechanics work.LESS THAN 2 WEEKS-$700...WOW! More
After 60,000 miles I decided to visit Crest Ford for a Transmission Flush on my 2007 Ford Fusion. After Specifing to the Service Advisor to verify that the Correct FNR5 Transmission Fluid was to be used, Transmission Flush on my 2007 Ford Fusion. After Specifing to the Service Advisor to verify that the Correct FNR5 Transmission Fluid was to be used, I waited in the waiting Room. When my car was finished I went to pay the bill and it had listed MERCRON V transmission fluid was used. After quesitoning the Service Advisor they went back to check with the mechanic and she said she would get right back with me. After 15 mins and no responce from the Service Advisor I confronted her and a mechanic, who both told me MERCRON V was the correct transmission fluid, even after I showed them in my Owners Manual and a FORD MOTORCRAFT website it was not the correct fluid. After many excuses going round and round for 5 minutes, they agreed to reflush my transmission free of charge. While Crest Ford did fix thier screw up, they tryed to play every excuse in the book to make me believe they put the correct fluid in the first time. I would not recomend doing any Service Work at this dealer as they cannot even put the correct Transmission Fluid in a car and even the Transmission Mechanic Stated he has never used FNR5 Fluid(The Correct Fluid) in a Ford Fusion with the FNR5 Transmission. More
