However, we were left with the suspicion that we had been a bit duped, which I had never felt with the old Superior Kia crew. We brought in a tire for repair that had a screw hole in the tread that should have been fixable.. Later we get a call saying the sidewall was damaged and the tire would have to be replaced. When we picked up the car, we asked to see the damaged tire and the sidewall damage did not look normal. It really looked like it had been stuck with a knife and that was not the damage we found before bringing it in. No way to prove that, of course, so we paid and left. Found out later we could have gotten the same tire elsewhere for about $60 less. That is quite a mark up. It all just left us feeling disappointed. More

The service advisor took care of me promptly and advised on a couple of extra services: the vehicle had two recalls, which I arranged to have taken care of at another date, and a fuel additive for under $20. I'm not sure I needed the latter, and I find this on a Kia technical bulletin: "TECHRON® Concentrate Plus Fuel System Cleaner should be used at every standard oil change interval (7500) miles, if Top TIer detergent gasoline is not available." But I did see the info, in one of the vehicle's manuals, about top-tier gasolines, and have been using them. You can buy the 12 oz. Techron at Walmart or Amazon for about $5. More

At 96,000 miles my 2014 Optima SX Turbo gave up the ghost while working over a thousand miles away from home. After calling roadside assistance through my insurance company it was towed to Crain Kia of Fayetteville. Within 24hrs, I was issued a rental car while the engine was on order. Three weeks later I returned the rental and was back in my car. After driving it a few days the check engine light illuminated and the acceleration started to lag. I informed Thomas the service manager and he explained that I had to leave it overnight for a cold start inspection. Once again I was given a loaner from the dealer while they figure out the problem. Two days later he called me to say service was complete and that the problem was the turbo waste gate needing adjustments. My car is now running like new. Thank you Thomas, Cody, Chris, and the service technicians involved for your skill and dedication! This type of service ensures Kia retains their customers. God bless! More
