USED CAR BUYERS BEWARE! ! Crain Kia Fayetteville sold us a 2017 Jeep Cherokee for $11k, claiming their "expert mechanics" had given it a clean bill of health. The very next d ! Crain Kia Fayetteville sold us a 2017 Jeep Cherokee for $11k, claiming their "expert mechanics" had given it a clean bill of health. The very next day, the check engine light came on, and an independent mechanic revealed that the engine was shot and needed a $20k replacement. When we sought a trade-in, they first offered $2500, then $5000. The General Sales Manager, Trent Parker, came out and stated he was doing us a great favor by giving us “$5000 for a car that was only worth $500”—the car his dealership sold us for $11,000. He further told us this “deal” was only valid for 15 minutes and was only good on the first car we had looked at that day, when we still wanted to consider other vehicles. Trent said the trade was only good for the one vehicle on the lot that he obviously wanted to get rid of, as it reeked of cigarette smoke. He wanted us to take the lion’s share of the loss on a vehicle they sold us. We stated that this was unacceptable and said we would pursue other avenues of recourse. Trent then asked what it would take, and he relented with an $8000 trade-in value plus another $2000 in cash, in addition to the $4000 cash we put down originally. Bottom line: they do not stand behind their used cars. Purchasing an aftermarket warranty wouldn’t have prevented this ordeal, as it wouldn’t have taken effect until 30 days after purchase. The lesson we’ve learned is to buy from reputable companies like CarMax or Carvana, where we’ve had positive experiences and they offer 7 and 10-day return policies, respectively. On a positive note, our Sales Consultant, Nathan Palacios, was exceptionally helpful and courteous. His customer service was outstanding, earning him a 5-star rating. We would give Crain Kia zero stars if possible. More

I love kia but have never dealt with a dealership with such abhorrent customer service. In eight weeks I have gotten no personal calls regarding the status of my vehicle without first reaching out to the dealership multiple times. They also have not provided a loaner vehicle in all of this time. More
Do not buy a Kia if you actually need to have a reliable vehicle to drive. They break down constantly and the service department can’t or won’t fix it. vehicle to drive. They break down constantly and the service department can’t or won’t fix it. More
They have had my car for 6 weeks plus. Nothing has been done. Nobody answers calls nor gives an honest update when In person queries are made. The cars and the service are equally bad. Easily the best buying experience I have ever had! I found some used vehicles online at Crain Kia of Fayetteville that had some promise, so I made the hour and a half drive up there to check them out. Mike Mason spent all day with me, trying to find a unicorn and after testing many vehicles, we finally found a 2021 Nissan Rogue Sport that fit the bill. Mike was such a good sport going on all those test drives, and he was so gracious and treated me like I had an 800 credit score. He and manager Kenny Robe worked their magic and bent over backwards to make sure I left happy. I walked out with a beautiful new (to me) car, and the warranties and gap insurance that came with it were the cherry on top. The finance manager Loren Corralez was an absolute peach too, signing the papers was quick and easy and we had great conversation. Absolutely could not recommend this dealership enough, everyone was fantastic and personable and I will highly recommend them to anyone that needs a car! THANK YOU MIKE, KENNY, AND LOREN! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ More

Terrible customer service. Would give a negative one star if I could. It's a long story but my 2024 Telluride has electrical problems. Approximately 3 weeks ago I stopped by a Would give a negative one star if I could. It's a long story but my 2024 Telluride has electrical problems. Approximately 3 weeks ago I stopped by and the service guy told me they couldn't service it that day and also they didn't have any loaners available. He told me I could make an appointment but he really didn't know when they could get to it and that he would call me next week as soon as they had a loaner and I could make the appointment then. All good and understandable and I appreciated his honesty. Since I never heard from them, I stopped by the dealership to see what I could do to get my car serviced. There were two guys sitting there and after a while, one did greet me with, "welcome, I'm new here so I probably can't help you but what can I do for you?" Okay....interesting greeting so we waited for another guy. I told him about my previous attempt at getting an app. and he said "that's why many people are not with us anymore". He gave me an appointment and said they would have a loaner ready. By the way the he was the only one that seemed to know what he was doing at all so I felt pretty good about it. I showed up at my appointment....again the same two guys sitting there looking at me like I was crazy and thus we waited for the "experienced guy" who had given me the appointment. He begins checking me in and I ask about the loaner which he told me I could have when I scheduled the appointment. I did get the loaner and left the car for a couple of days. I called yesterday and a gentleman picked up the phone and told me he would "walk back in the garage and check on it." He told me that the tech was doing the software update and recall work and that they would get back to me with an update, tomorrow. I didn't hear from them so I driving their loaner and decided to stop by the dealership and just inquire. Please note that I was in no hurry for the car as I was driving their loaner and wanted my car fixed.....especially the recall. I looked inside the customer service center and there we three guys sitting there with no customers so I thought I'd just call as I just wanted an update and didn't think it was ready. I called three times and despite being in there alone, none of them made a move to answer the phone. It was then that I noticed my car was in the exact same spot as they parked it when I left it the first day. I them went in and asked the younger gentleman about it and he said "oh yeah, it was me that talked to you yesterday." as soon as I said that it hadn't moved.....you guessed it.....we had to wait for "the guy". He knew they had not done anything on it and that it was parked where he left it two days ago. He then told me his "computer was down" and that he couldn't give me an update. When I told him it hadn't moved he said "yeah we had to take the mechanic that was going to work on it, to the emergency room and he probably is going to lose a finger." While I certainly do feel bad for the mechanic, I don't see how this affected my question. I then asked if they can just please tell me when they would get to it and that the younger gentleman had told me they already started it. He asked me who I talked to......keep in mind there was only three of them and only one younger gentleman. When I told him, he said "well he doesn't know, he's only a porter that moves cars." Then why was he answering the phone and giving service updates? I them just asked to get the car back and went and got it myself. More
I purchased a vehicle from this dealership over 6 months ago and I qualified for a military rebate. I gave all required documentation at the time of purchase and I have yet to receive the rebate. I have cal ago and I qualified for a military rebate. I gave all required documentation at the time of purchase and I have yet to receive the rebate. I have called the dealership 10+ times and have been told it is being processed or that they could not help me because rebates are handled through corporate. I thought it was very kind of Kia to offer me a rebate for my military service and I feel I have been lied I never received it. More

I put a deposit down on the car to ensure that it would be there as I was driving down from Kansas City to see it. It was priced very well and the miles were low which is what convinced me to come see it. I arrived at the dealership and was greeted relatively promptly by the salesman and the general manager with whom I had spoke to on the phone. Both seemed very pleasant. I filled out some paperwork and took the car for a test drive. I loved every minute of it except for some vibration that I felt while on the highway. It wasn’t there at lower speeds so I assumed it was just the tires needing to be rebalanced. I spoke with the general manager who greeted me when I returned and let him know about the vibration at highway speeds. I told him that I will buy the car if he can diagnose what it is. He told me that he would have a tech look at it first thing next week as I was there on a Saturday. On Monday afternoon I called to see if a tech had a chance to look at it and he said that it wouldn’t be until Wednesday that they can work on it. I told them to keep me informed as I wanted to buy the car. On Tuesday I noticed that they raised the price on the car $4,000. I thought this was a bit odd since they technically already had it sold to me. Wednesday comes and goes and there is no word from the dealer. I called on Friday and I was told that it had “mechanical issues” and that they sent it off to auction as it was too expensive to fix. Essentially they lied to me. They didn’t fix it. They sold it to someone else at the higher price and told me that they auctioned it off. I assumed that this was the case as no reputable dealer would try to sell a car with major mechanical issues without inspecting and repairing it before they even offered it for sale to the public. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS More
