Overall experience AWESOME! Many individuals "DREAD" going to a car dealership to buy a car. I know I did prior to visiting Cox Chevrolet in Bradenton. I would go over the rules with my husband in the car prior to pulling into the car lot. We are just looking, keep quiet about about prices, don't make any commitments etc. I hear a lot of people say "customer service " is a thing of the past. I can without out a doubt state that this is not true from Cox. This is my 2nd car purchased here and I am 125% satisfied. We were handled professionally, and not pressured AT ALL. The sales manager (Oscar) is always available to his customers and always very helpful and informative with a great sense of humor. As most of us experience most sales manager's in dealerships hide behind closed doors to make the deals. They are heard but never seen. NOT Oscar, he is always seen greeting every customer and he always demonstrates the utmost respect for us and others around us. Derek Besemer/Tim Deemer the sales persons who handled us were so friendly that we could honestly say they are like family members. No pressure at all. They know their vehicles inside and out. They were very informative and the overall experience was excellent. This is why I keep going back. If you want this type of experience I highly recommend you go to Cox. Additionally, last but not least the finance man behind the doors "Adam Borgia" was very professional and we (again) were not pressured at all. He is a wiz at going over the paperwork, professional and very detailed about giving us options in order to protect our investment. I have to add I'm not bored when he goes through the contracts. He is upbeat and positive and not your typical "reviewing the contract" in a monotone voice, where you just want to get out of there. From walking into the door to getting into the new vehicle and driving home is an experience that will have be going back in a few years! Thanks to all at Cox! More

They will not help you if you have an issue with the purchase of any of their cars. They claim to change the oil, but they don't, they claim to check out everything in your car and they don't! Pedro and Daniel are a joke as salesmen, they know nothing about customer satisfaction, they are there to make a quick buck, even if it means to lie and cheat there way to the top! More
Best dealership in Florida I was on the market for a new Tahoe for over 3 months and wanted to trade in my BMW which was upside down in payments. I went to Ferman Chevy, Dimmitt I was on the market for a new Tahoe for over 3 months and wanted to trade in my BMW which was upside down in payments. I went to Ferman Chevy, Dimmitt Chevy, Carmax, Ferman BMW, all of whom ran my credit report and could not get me the deal I was hoping for. I finally met John Taylor over an hour away from where I live and he got me the Tahoe with all the specs I asked for, a competitive price for my trade, and he kept me within the monthly car payment he initially quoted me. All of this was done over the phone and over the course of a week before I even picked up my new car. The service here is amazing and JT is a gem. More

Upon leaving for home with new car I noticed fuel gauge had stopped working. I was told to take it across street to Cox chevy and let service look at it. Was determined a fuel level sensor in tank was bad and would cost me $1700.00. I complained by saying I didn't even get off the lot and it was working fine on test drive. Cox Mazda said since I didn't purchase the extended warranty I had to pay for repairs or come back over and purchase warranty and then they would fix car. I said I was coming back over to get my trade in back. Per cooling off period the service writer Eric wiehl told me to wait he wanted to check up the ladder to see what could be done as he didn't want me leaving a dissatisfied customer. He came back to me giving me a rental car to get home had my car fixed with no out of pocket expense. Because of Erick wiehl at Cox chevy service dept. I will come back to Cox for service and sales needs. Thank you Erick Wiehl ! More
Did not honor warranty contract Until today, I have been happy with Cox Chevy's sales and service departments. I purchased a six-year extended warranty when I purchased a 2010 Camaro Until today, I have been happy with Cox Chevy's sales and service departments. I purchased a six-year extended warranty when I purchased a 2010 Camaro in November 2013. In the past six months, the check engine light and air bag warning sensor indicated malfunction. Today, I sent my seventy-year old mother in to authorize a radiator flush and fill. She authorized just that. Two hours later, I was told that the passenger seat air bag sensor and another valve needed replaced but the warranty was only valid for 2 years or 24 thousand miles, and that I needed to have $2,000 worth of work done. I told the service manager to just do the radiator flush and fill and I would look at the warranty paper work and get back to him. An hour later, my mother picked up the car and I was charged $182 for flush and fill and $258 for "diagnostic charges". I came home and looked at the warranty contact, which stated "N/A" for both years and mileage and it covered all diagnostic charges as well as all sensors. I'm very disappointed that the service manager did not return my call and that I paid $1,800 for a worthless warranty contact. More
Totally disappointed Cox Chevrolet TOTALED our vehicle during a service appointment. Their way of 'making it right' was negotiating a fair insurance settlement and expect Cox Chevrolet TOTALED our vehicle during a service appointment. Their reputation wasn't worth them not making money on a return customer, a loyal Chevy customer after they created a circumstance where we needed a "new"vehicle". More

Excellent Service and Sales We have been going to Cox for service since 2006, when we moved to FL, so when we needed a new vehicle a few weeks ago we of course went to Cox and wo We have been going to Cox for service since 2006, when we moved to FL, so when we needed a new vehicle a few weeks ago we of course went to Cox and worked with Finian Mayotte. We were always very happy with the service department (Dave!!!!) and were equally happy with the purchase of our 2016 Trax. There was no pressure, just help from someone who we felt very comfortable with so a few hours later we drove out with our new Trax and absolutely love it. Our first Chevy was a 1988 Blazer which we purchased in NJ after we were married and have always loved the quality of a GM vehicle. I would recommend anyone looking to purchase a vehicle to ask for FINIAN MAYOTTE at Cox Chevrolet for a pleasant, hassle-free experience who knows his stuff!!!!! He is very patient and in fact when I went back a few days later to pick up my spare key (forgot it the day we drove off) he came out to explain some things to me since I had forgotten what he said when we were there so I didn't have to look in the manual. Everyone at Cox has been a pleasure to deal with and no we are not related to them. It is truly a big car dealership with small-town values where they do care about the customer. Thanks Finian!!!!!! Faulty Diagnosis of transmission Took my GMC to Cox with a faulty tranny, Cox did a diagnosis and said it needed a Transmission Control Module, four days later when I went to pick up Took my GMC to Cox with a faulty tranny, Cox did a diagnosis and said it needed a Transmission Control Module, four days later when I went to pick up the truck, the module had been changed and Cox Ser. informed me that the problem was not corrected. They were paid to diagnosis and repair, I then asked them to replace the old module, they said the old module had to be sent back as a core return. Cox suggested, investigating further, after $1200 and the incompetence shown by their service, who in their right mind would continue? I drove the vehicle back to Va. and a little old independent transmission mechanic, found and repaired the problem in a very short time, at a fraction of the cost paid to Cox. If that is the kind of service GM offers to their customers, I have been misled by their advertising, the least they could do is be responsible for their mistakes. More
