I purchased 2020 chey blazer I have been to this service department a few times and it always not a good experience. This last time made an appointment and was told to bring the car in today at 8 am. When I department a few times and it always not a good experience. This last time made an appointment and was told to bring the car in today at 8 am. When I arrived he tells me that I will have to leave it 3 to 5 days for them to look at it. Why can't they set up a system where they tell you when you are making the appointment that it will take that long for them to look at your car.now leaving the car for 3 to 5 days just to look at it ,then the time to repair it you would think they would give you a loaner so you would not be with out your car for all that time.my car has 26000.miles.i would think they could find a better way to help their customers I have purchased 2 cars from their dealerships .Will be looking elsewhere in the future More
Let me explain my experience. This has NOTHING to do with the sales person who helped me! He was great and still is busting his xxx for me. This rating is for the service departme This has NOTHING to do with the sales person who helped me! He was great and still is busting his xxx for me. This rating is for the service department. Horrible doesn’t even describe what I’d like to say. These cars are supposed to go through an inspection when they get them. I bought a truck from them and had to wait for them to service it before I could take it home. On the way home the tires were squealing like I was doing a burn out? So I called new sales man and had to take back up there for the service department to figure out what was wrong. The tires were bad on it when I got it, so when they told me they were going to put more tires on it, I thought, great it’s fixed. They delivered to me and the next morning I get In it to go to work and the tires are doing the same thing!! I call my sales man and he’s shocked. He tells me that he’s going to take care of it and he’ll get back to me. So I drive all day and all day I’m getting more pissed about the situation. So finally I get a call back and they said that they want to replace the rear suspension? But the noise is coming from the front end? So I take it to a tire specialist with my mechanic and they immediately say that the tires that they put on are not in good condition, and the front end needs an alignment. I call my salesperson and tell him that I’m don’t trust their “service department” and that they give the whole dealership a bad rep!! I tell him that I will take it to an alignment shop and get it aligned and get the tires inspected myself because it seems like they don’t give two shiets about what they’re doing or their customers time that they waste!! So now after wasting time, losing money, and patients I’ll have to pay for a REAL mechanic to fix it. I also want to note that I paid for a warranty for my vehicle that covered the tires and they gave me used ones? The fact of the matter is that I don’t feel that my truck was ever inspected, and whoever passed my vehicle for their state inspection is trash! My fluids are low, my air filter is the original and dirty, and they just want to make another appointment so they can have it sit up there all day and not even look at it! It seems like they do this so you don’t even want to take your vehicle back up there! I feel like I got ripped off! If I didn’t know Who the original owner was of my truck I’d be asking for a refund!! I put 6k down on this deal and now have to spend more money to get it fixed because their inspection team isn’t doing their job!! Lastly, I asked the salesperson I’d the person who delivered my truck heard the tires and he said, “he didn’t hear nothing”. But he had plenty of time to move my seat and adjust the lumber support and turn on the radio? I hate leaving a negative review but I know covert has good people and I hope that this reaches one of them! More
I have purchased 4-5 vehicles from the Covert dealerships over the last 30 years, my latest a 2021 Silverado Trail Boss, which before it hit 5,000 miles had a lifter issue causing a bent push rod, now at 42, over the last 30 years, my latest a 2021 Silverado Trail Boss, which before it hit 5,000 miles had a lifter issue causing a bent push rod, now at 42,900 miles having lifter issues again, Covert replaced lifters ,but now they say it has a ticking noise, Covert said GM told them to do engine flush which Covert and GM says I have to pay for at $500-$1000 if 2 flushings are required, GM says Covert could do this at a courtesy if they are willing , seems to me like GM would offer to pay for it !!! I will never purchase any GM products ever again !! More

I just got my F-150 in late April of this year and (3) separate times I’ve gotten a blind spot system fault and a cross traffic system fault messages. I also have seen my screen go completely dark after pressing the ford application button. I have taken my truck to dealership twice now and both times they have told me the following “so unfortunately we are still unable to duplicate the issue, we understand the conditions needed what’s happening but need to be able to duplicate the concern, as much as I hate to say it, we’re going to go ahead and have you take the vehicle again…” It is a brand new 2023 F-150 with less than 4,000 miles on it. So far, I am disappointed with both the service here at the Covert Ford in Hutto and in my purchase. More
This is the first time I have ever felt so mistreated that I write a negative review. I believe that people can have a bad day but this group is bad every day. I was told if I put my order in for my n that I write a negative review. I believe that people can have a bad day but this group is bad every day. I was told if I put my order in for my new 2023 Ford Ranger before December I could expect to have it by the end of February. This was not true, but when would you expect a sales person to say. The truck arrived towards the end of April. I went in the day before I was going to pick the truck up to take care of all the paperwork. This was a 4 hour ordeal but I got it done. Before leaving I asked how long it would take the next day to get the truck. I was told just 15 – 20 minutes. The sales person said he would have the truck washed that afternoon so it would be ready the first thing in the morning. I got to the Hutto lot around 9:30 and my sales person was nowhere to be found. They paged him and about 30 minutes later he showed up. I gave him the check for the truck and told him I had an appointment at 11:30 how long will this take. He said not long and disappeared. He came back about 10 or 15 minutes later and said he was having the truck washed. We sat at his desk for ½ and hour when I said I have to get out of here I have an appointment to get to. He got up and disappeared again and after another long time he showed up and said I have your truck. He took me out to the truck showed me some of the features and set up my Ford Pass and I was off. It was 11:38 and I was there for 2 hours! I missed my 11:30 appointment and was late for my 12:15 appointment. After a week of driving my new truck I noticed the carpet on the passenger side was soaked with water and I could hear water sloshing around under the dash. I called the Hutto service department and told them my problem. They said they could get me in on Monday, this was Wednesday. I said fine but I would need a loaned vehicle as the truck was my only way to get around. I was told the service manager would have to make those arrangements and I was transferred over to her. She said that there was not a loaner vehicle available at that time but she was expecting one to come available soon and would call as soon as one did. I waited a week with no contact from anyone at the Hutto Dealership so I called them. The service manager responded very quickly that Wednesday and got me a loaner car. Before leaving I asked her when she thought she would get the truck in the shop. She said that she was shooting for the end of the week. I should have asked her “WHICH WEEK?” I waited until the following Thursday, 9 days later, before I decided to call but before I could call them I got a Text message saying that my truck was going into the shop. I decided to wait and call the morning, Friday to see what they had found. I had to leave a message and waited for a call. By 4:20 pm I had not gotten any call back so I called again and had to leave a message. By Monday I had still not had anyone call me so I called and had to leave another message. WHY DO THEY HAVE VOICE MALE IF THEY REFUSE TO RESPOND TO CALLS! At 1:40 pm on Monday I had enough and was getting ready to drive over to the Hutto Ford Dealer when I finally got a call back. They told me they believed they knew why I was getting water inside the truck but would not be able to get to it until the end of the week. That would make the total time line from when I first called about the water leak to when they may fix it almost a month and another week of them not call me to keep me informed or not returning my calls. NO, I WAS NOT GOING TO DO THAT. I did drive that Monday to the Hutto Dealer and told them I wanted my truck back. I waited two and a half hours but got my truck back. They physically had my truck for 13 days and did not fix the problem! I wish I had seen their reviews before getting involved with this group! Be smarter than me and go somewhere else! More
gone downhill is an understatement. I have been a Covert Ford customer for going on 30 years. First I show up for an appointment. The guy tells me the appointment was only to meet I have been a Covert Ford customer for going on 30 years. First I show up for an appointment. The guy tells me the appointment was only to meet him and set up another time to drive in. They never reached back out to schedule. Next time I was able to get the Truck in and looked at then left it there to get fixed, over a month went by. After that service was done, a noise started up, cannot confirm this was because of the previous service call but none the less. Showed up, but there was noone there to look at the truck so they told me to come back Monday Morning. I asked was this going to take time to fix. They told me that it would be the same day. I jokingly said, that is what you said last time. He stated that was a different scenario, and I agreed. Went back the following Monday as requested by the Service person, and the Foreman was able to test ride and heard the noise I was concerned. Thereafter, i was chcked in and they said they would call me later that day. No call at all. I called in the next day, left a message with this said person to let me know what is going on and why i dont have my truck back. Got a call back several hours later and was told that the truck cannot even be looked at until Thursday, (4 days after I dropped it off) and that is not even talking about the repair. The advisor told me he did not say that, and was calling me a liar without saying I was a liar. Why would i leave a vehicle in their possession if it was not going to be seen for a full 4 days out? What sense does that make? What is an appointment for? These guys need to get their act together. More
This is the worst place ever. They should be required to advertise as "dis-service". I did purchase our last 3 cars (Ford) here because the sales guy was alright. But for the l They should be required to advertise as "dis-service". I did purchase our last 3 cars (Ford) here because the sales guy was alright. But for the last vehicle, the finance people tried to sneak in extra costs - like charging me for putting serial numbers on the windows (something done at the factory). I nearly walked out and scrapped the deal. But the service department is the worst part. They used to be able to do an oil change in an hour (where it takes any other place 15 min). Now it takes them many hours - even with an appointment - and in fact they don't even want you to wait. They want you to drop it so they have all day. Sorry, I don't have all day. We are done. More

They proceeded to tell us that in order to figure out one of them, they would have to take the dash off and see if our warranty would cover it. If they didn’t the labor alone would be 2K. NEVER received call notifying us if warranty covered it or if we need to pay out of pocket weve call so many time and everytime we get a sent to message and told we’ll receive a call back but never happens!
