I found myself in a very bad situation. I bought a 22 Buick Encore (used) from y’all last year. Friday the battery died, I live in Kyle but I got it started and drove it home. The next morn I bought a 22 Buick Encore (used) from y’all last year. Friday the battery died, I live in Kyle but I got it started and drove it home. The next morning the battery would not start the car so I called and talked to Matt. I shared with him that my husband is in hospice, due to cancer and I live an hour away and can’t leave him and asked what y’all could do for me. Because it is under warranty. His response was they would come get the car and tow it to Bee Cave hook it up to diagnostic for 24 hours and with the weekend I wouldn’t get the car back until at least Monday. With that being our only vehicle obviously that was not going to work. I’m shocked and confused that y’all couldn’t just bring a battery and replace it. He said that was not your policy!!!!! So I had to bite the bullet and have AAA install a battery and pay $260. I have a 3 year warranty and they will come to me. With me at 73 and my husband at 76, perhaps you should consider customer service.. Kay Boyce. More

This is the first time I've been grateful for the opportunity to write a review for a service appointment. I've been working with Matt Bennett and I can't say enough good things about my experiences opportunity to write a review for a service appointment. I've been working with Matt Bennett and I can't say enough good things about my experiences with him and Covert GMC. I previously owned a Nissan Titan which I loved, but the service department in Austin was so awful that I would drive down to San Marcos to have it serviced there. They were excellent, but life circumstances no longer allow me to take an entire day for regular service, so when it was time for me to look for a new vehicle, I started brand shopping. I include this fact to make the point, I'm not just buying a vehicle, I'm buying a brand and its service and dealership support. I am a cash buyer so how my investment is handled, and how I'm treated in that process is very important to me, so when my truck started malfunctioning and needed to be towed into the dealership I thought "Well now we'll see if I made a good decision or not". The specifics of what was wrong with the truck probably don't need to be fleshed out in this review, but it took several trips back to the dealership to get to the bottom of the issue. Machines break, systems fail that's an unfortunate reality of owning a car, but it's what companies do in response that sets one dealership apart from another and I'm pleased to report that Matt's attention and communication through the process made me glad that I purchased at Covert. More
