Here is an interesting two-part story about Courtesy Volvo Service. Story1: About a year ago, my son was visiting from CA. While here, his check engine light came on. He took his Volvo here to have it Volvo Service. Story1: About a year ago, my son was visiting from CA. While here, his check engine light came on. He took his Volvo here to have it checked. First it was diagnosed as problem A which could be fixed for $350. Yeah, that didn't solve it. Then it was problem B which could be fixed for $820. Yeah, that didn't fix it. Then it was problem C which could be fixed for $510. Nope, that didn't fix it...... This went on for about 45 days with a total cost of $8,500. Every time it was "well, the most recent fix was needed, but so was the previous one". Story 2: My Volvo engine light was on so I took it to these guys to have it checked. They gave it a check over, and they said it was problem A which they fixed for $410. Had it back for a week, and the light came back on. Back in it went, and I got the same excuse as with my son's car - "well B needs fixing, but we had to fix A as well". In this case B was a leaking head gasket that was somehow missed in the first check. But they'd be happy to fix it for $4500. I looked up all the symptoms of a bad head gasket, my car had none. I decided given the experience with my son's car, it would be a good idea to get a 2nd opinion. The second place ran all the diagnostics, and said I had a bad fuel regulator - fixed for $320 parts and labor. That was 2 months ago, and no engine light on and no problems at all. Do yourself a big favor, stay away from this place. They are either wildly incompetent or just plain dishonest. They would get 0 stars if that were allowed. More

I have always received excellent, knowledgeable and friendly customer service from the Service Department and from Jud White especially. In addition to scheduled maintenance, Jud has helped me through friendly customer service from the Service Department and from Jud White especially. In addition to scheduled maintenance, Jud has helped me through specific issues and has offered useful advice. Recently, in preparation for a cross-country 3,000 mile trip in my XC90 T8, Jud arranged an inspection that added greatly to my confidence in roadworthiness for the drive. I'm really glad Courtesy Volvo is my dealership. More
I am having to change a 5 star purchase to a 1 star service. This started a few weeks ago when I dropped the car off for service and never received a call that the car was ready. So I reached out only service. This started a few weeks ago when I dropped the car off for service and never received a call that the car was ready. So I reached out only to be told they lost the key. This would not have been an issue as well have another key but instead they chose to avoid the issue. They told me they would then call once the key was found but a week went by with no calls. So reached out again, finally for them to tell me they will give a new key. I still never heard back from the original service guy. This brings me to today. Was driving back from a trip and just made it to the dealership at 1:30 with the car needing some help. Judd was the only person in service and said he would get it back there and we should wait. So an hour passed and we went to find him for an update. It is 2:30 and he said the parts guy is on lunch and does not know if they have the part. So then they said they would drive us to get something to eat, one the way I asked what time they closed and they responded with 4pm. At this time there was an only an hour and 15 minutes left till they closed. I was blown away, were they going to leave us at our food destination with no way to get back? So I had the driver take us back to the dealership since there was no way the car could be repaired before close. So instead of just being honest and letting us go home they had us sit there till almost close. The only manager that was there was the sales manager and we were told he had deals to close since it is a Saturday and would talk to us when he found time. So we decided to get an Uber and leave and I'm sure will have to chase any sort of follow up to get our car back. While I love my Volvo I will be looking at a different vehicle to trade in for it so I don't have to deal with this dealership. I would recommend people to look at other options because once the joy of the purchase is compete the service will feel like a betrayal. More
Follow up on first review……. I called David first thing this morning, he was kind of aware of the issue. It was left another night last night so they could finally do the diagnostic, that I originally asked for and was willing to pay for. I’m being told they actually fixed the issue. Who knows. However, what ever issue that was really going on was not worth 2298.00 I know this bill would’ve been cheaper. However, I’m was told wrong Information or just bluntly lied to. David fixed or cleaned what he said was causing the engine light and asked me what else I needed done . I was told I would get a discount on the next service after telling him some more work I wanted to have done. Now why would I want or why would I go back. No thank you. Some money back for what I actually needed done would be nice, but we all know that won’t happen. Have a good night and you’ll never have my business or anyone I meet with a Volvo. More

I used the on line service scheduling feature and booked the car in for the next day. The service advisor Michael was very courteous and the mechanics found the software issue very quickly. We can now head back on the road knowing our issue was resolved. Thanks for providing such excellent service. More
