Was told they can not show me a car unless I give them my name / number / email , etc I just stopped by to see a pilot and crv to see if they fit my need . Until I decided what I am buying Honda /Toyota/etc and pick the car I don’t need to give that info. I don’t need 14 calls a day or dozens of emails from a dealership to keep asking me if I am ready to buy. When I’m ready they will know. This never happens when you want to buy a shirt, computer or anything else . Only car dealerships require you to give them info so you can be harassed over and over again . Before I walked out I try to let somebody know this but nobody seemed to care . They are running around like they are dealing with emergencies. Car dealerships make the buying experience creepy. Customer sitting around with the look of “How screwed am I going today?” . While car sales staff is in back trying to figure out new ways to erk people.. They are. It talking it over with manager they are seeing who can screw the customer the most , I went to another Honda dealership and they let me look at every vehicle I wanted and they don’t even know my name. They were happy to point me in the right direction leave me alone. Guess who I’ll be buying from and guess who won’t be getting my business again More
