Took my 1996 Pathfinder in for a 200K mile check-up. I take my car to Courtesy for service when I want the best. This time I got the worst. After having my car for a month, when I picked it up, ($5K) th I take my car to Courtesy for service when I want the best. This time I got the worst. After having my car for a month, when I picked it up, ($5K) the engine light came on within a few miles. Took it back and left it for another month ($3K). Drove it another 50 mi., light came on again ($5.7K). Took it back again. Serviceman reported a leak in the radiator, but they gave me back the car anyway. Another $300. Drove it a 200 mi. Spent $2K replacing sensor and fuel lines Courtesy had replaced. Check engine light came on again. Took it to Dennis Road Automotive, who replaced the bad solenoid, and it cost me $800. No more check engine light! This service department is a nightmare!!! It took me over a year to get my car back to good running order. Now she is good-to-go for another 200K miles! More

The service rep said they could not find the problem! I convinced him to let the technician ride with me to view the problem first hand. They ordered the new steering column and installed it, it took a few days, but my noise problem is now gone. More
