Ely Bennet Sales Director at Courtesy Nissan called and texted me about my interest that I found online for a "NEW" 2024 Nissan Versa that I clicked on the link to on line. It said the price was "$16,130" texted me about my interest that I found online for a "NEW" 2024 Nissan Versa that I clicked on the link to on line. It said the price was "$16,130". It then went to a another page which asked for my zip code and name and phone #. Within 10 mins I received two texts and a call from "Courtesy Nissan". The phone call was from Ely himself. However he said he didn't have any new 2024's and started trying to hustle me on a 2025. I told him I was not interested in a 2025, I was looking to make a deal on a year old new car that was advertised. He said again I don't have one. I said typical "Bait and switch". He went on for 10 minutes telling me I don't know what a bait a switch is and he didn't have anything on his website that said he had a New 2024. I said I clicked on an ad online and that company that advertised it "Autosite.com" , they asked me for my information and within 10 minutes I received a call from Ely Bennet, telling me he didn't have what I was clicking on the ad to look at, and trying to sell me a different car. If that isn't a bait and switch I don't know what is. He proceeded to tell me how "I don't know what I'm talking about". I pointed out that the "Autosite.com" was not giving Courtesy Nissan my information out of the goodness of their heart. They are being compensated in some way. He said you don't know what you are talking about. I guess I am stupid. I got ahold of "Nissan USA", and they said they could do nothing. So I guess if you want to be treated, or mistreated in this way go there and ask for Ely Bennet, as he is your man. Don't expect any help from Nissan USA, as they are too busy worrying about going bankrupt, they don't have time for a silly thing like customers. I invite anyone else who has had an unpleasent conversation with Ely Bennet, make sure you put in a review. More
