We drove from Palm Coast to Tampa to find our dream car, which Courtesy Hyundai of Tampa was able to find! Let me be sure you know that this was the ONLY car of my specific variety (Genesis Coupe, 3.8 R-Sp which Courtesy Hyundai of Tampa was able to find! Let me be sure you know that this was the ONLY car of my specific variety (Genesis Coupe, 3.8 R-Spec, Black exterior, Red Leather Interior, 6-speed manual) in the state of Florida and they not only guaranteed this car available to me, but followed up on their promise. We had what can only be delicately described as a "truncated" time table and they were able to provide me with the quickest and msot complete buying experience I could imagine! Thank you Mo for everything you did for me and my family!!! We will DEFINITELY be back!!!! More
From the first visit to the dealership, I was disappointed to see the overall unprofessionalism of the dealership and staff. From the first day I went to look at used cars, I noticed how they disappointed to see the overall unprofessionalism of the dealership and staff. From the first day I went to look at used cars, I noticed how they had dealership cars in handicap spaces. The same thing the second day. Over Memorial Day weekend (day we honor military and veterans - including disabled right??) Yet, lazy, unprofessional sales staff park the cars there after a test drive to quickly get the customer inside the showroom to hammer out a deal. My husband and I spoke to the car sales manager Dan Violette regarding our concerns as we assumed it was just an oversight. We were shocked by the arrogant, ignorant and rude response we received from Dan Violette. He made every excuse justifying where his sales staff parks and even told me that if one of the spaces was taken, just come in and someone will move the car!!! But if I felt that 'strongly' about it then to go ahead and call to report them! Now, we originally dealt with a salesman named Dennis Stokes. We decided to look beyond the handicap issue and focus on car buying. Dennis seemed pleasant, knowledgeable and understanding to our family's vehicle needs. The issue we found was that when we couldn't decide between the Santa Fe or the Tucson, Dennis would change the tactics about pricing to get us to pin down one type of car. We found he was dishonest about Hyundai rebates in efforts to get us into a vehicle we had initially looked at. In May 25-31 2013 this is a summary of what transpired. day 1 the 2013 Hyundai Tucson Limited price was $26,788 OTD and the Santa Fe base was $24,236 OTD. According to Dennis, the Santa Fe had more rebates to then the 2013 Tucson. However, on day 3, it was the Tucson Limited (loaded) was now $22,610.18 OTD and had all the rebates while the Santa Fe at 28,765 OTD had none!!! (Nothing changed other then his price game, same car, same model, within the month of May) To our shock and horror, when we told him, great lets do the deal-Dennis sent a text message the next morning stating "My manager Dan Violette said he won't sell you guys a car." Dennis Stokes then proceeded to tell me that they were "worried about their CSI if they sold us a car." "That could cost them thousands of dollars, and unless I was willing to commit and give them all a glowing CSI, the manager and Dennis wouldn't let us purchase a new vehicle from them?!? Dennis Stokes actually put this in writing and sent my family and I a text message stating this!!!!! So, this dealership expects me to overlook the fact they are breaking the law by parking illegally, hiding rebates to get more commission for themselves (they don't advertise the current rebates at their dealership), exhibiting poor customer service and also wasting peoples valuable time. Seriously, if they are that worried about their CSI (customer service index) maybe they should treat people right from the start. I have since filed a written compliant with the manufacturer along with the written documentation proof of how poorly/illegally this dealership does business. I would NEVER do business there again and I would NEVER recommend this dealership to another. With all the information the internet can provide and all the many dealerships out there, as potential a customer, it is your right to know all the facts before during and after your purchase. You should never have to deal with a business that you know does things illegally and doesn't seem to care. What does that say about the way they will do business with you? More
I started out going to Hyundai just to look around and possibly test drive a car, not knowing exactly what kinds of cars hyundai had. As soon as I pulled into the lot George Piloto was there promptly to possibly test drive a car, not knowing exactly what kinds of cars hyundai had. As soon as I pulled into the lot George Piloto was there promptly to great my parents and me. George quickly got to know exactly what I was interested in with his questionnaire and skipped the hassle of having to walk around the lot hoping that I would stumble upon something. With getting to know me he immediately decided that I sounded like I would be happy with the Hyundai Tucson so off to the Tucsons we went. Upon walking up to them I was a little scared to look at the price thinking I wouldn't be able to afford it since it was an SUV so we started out test driving the very basic level of the Tucson and I was really happy and pleased with both the price and the ride. Being brave when I got back to the lot I went and looked at the next level up of the Tucsons thinking it was going to jump up in price a lot and I was pleasantly surprised it was not too bad of an increase. From there I picked the color and price I liked and it was the Aurora blue, but I was still not 100% sure I wanted the Hyundai since I still wanted to compare it to the chevy Equinox. Without any begging or pleading to stay and make a deal for the Tucson George and his boss let me go easily to go and compare. I really liked that, that was the first dealership I had ever gone to and didn't feel like the sales people were being pushy. That same day I went to chevy and looked at the equinox for the same price as the Hyundai and the salesman Brandon did not want to take any more then $200 off the total price and kept insisting that his manager wouldn't do any better and wouldn't even get up to go ask and also I wouldn't of gotten any other offers/warrenties. With that being said and done, it was a clear decision that I was going to go back to Hyundai on my next day off from work to make a deal for the 2013 Hyundai Tucson. The days inbetween the time I was heading back to Hyundai George had called to see how I was doing with making a decision and offered to let me take the car home for a day if I wanted. Unfortunately the day I went back to Hyundai George was off, so Evelyn had helped me that day. I was really scared that I was not going to get approved and turned away for my credit not being excellent since I didn't really have any, but Evelyn and her boss Dan had worked together to help me get an AWESOME deal with AWESOME warrenties. Thanks to the wonderful staff at Courtesy Hyundai I am now a First time car owner of a BRAND NEW car with out needing a co-signer. George Piloto was very knowledgable about the Tucson and Evelyn was very helpful with getting my phone set up with my car. I couldn't be any happier if I went to a different dealership. More
