DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM COURTESY HYUNDAI OF TAMPA! I bought my car brand new from Courtesy Hyundai of Tampa and paid an extra $6,000 for their Platinum 120,000-mile warranty. Now that I actually need I bought my car brand new from Courtesy Hyundai of Tampa and paid an extra $6,000 for their Platinum 120,000-mile warranty. Now that I actually need to use it, they’ve refused to cover my repair — all because their technician, Ethan, lied on the service report. Even after I presented physical proof from a certified mechanic clearly showing that their report was false, they still denied the claim and took no responsibility. My car is now undrivable, and I’m left paying out of pocket for repairs that should absolutely be covered under warranty. The service manager, Jesus, was nearly impossible to reach, and once I did, he was dismissive, unhelpful, and offered zero real solutions. When I tried to escalate to the General Manager, Brenden O’Brien, he was rude, condescending, and completely uninterested in helping me. It was clear they had no intention of doing what’s right or honoring their warranty. This experience has been a total nightmare. I regret ever trusting Courtesy Hyundai of Tampa with my business. They’re quick to sell you a car and a warranty — but when it comes time to stand behind it, they’re nowhere to be found. Do yourself a favor: AVOID COURTESY HYUNDAI OF TAMPA at all costs. More

Very disappointed with the service department in that I purchased a new Elantra N several months ago. One of the Michelin tires had a large bubble on the sidewall. I demanded a new tire and they refused stating I must have hit a curb. ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE. I am a 80 year old disabled veteran and do not treat my cars that way. I had to pay $350 for one tire with money from my VA pension I have to give this dealership ONE STAR for poor customer relations. Buyers and veterans should find another dealership to purchase a new car. More

Dealing with Sales was a positive experience. Received a fair offer and after a test drive decided to purchase the 2025 Tucson Hybrid. Scheduled a pick up date but found out that the wrong tow hitch had been ordered and had to come back the following week to have the correct size tow hitch installed. We purchased the Platinum + VSC but after doing extensive research we realized that VSC was not a good investment. Working with the Courtesy Finance group was a challenge. Many emails/texts required in order to get the correct information which delayed any refund action for over 30 days. Now being told it will be 6-8 weeks for the $3760 VSC refund to be received. In addition we had to wait nearly two months to get new IL plates. Courtesy delayed the process by nearly 30 days which required that we come in to get an additional 30 Day FL temp tag. Originally told we would receive NEW plates but found out that the old plates were being transferred to the new Hyundai. Fortunately for us we did not dispose the old plates which would have created an additional nightmare. Very unhappy with the level of after sale customer service provided. More
