This was the first vehicle that I have purchased from country and the experiecne was very painless and effortless. The salesman was not pushy but very helpful and patient. I went into this dealership just to look around and get some information. Paul answered my questions and supplied me with a brochure. I told Paul I would be buying in about a month. One month later Paul called and asked if I was ready to purchase. I said I was but he did not have the Jeep I wanted. Paul asked what I was looking for and told me he could have it in a day. Paul gave me his price on it, which was as good as the dealer where I was going to buy it. I told Paul I had a trade and he asked if I could bring it in, which I did. Paul got it looked at and gave me a trade in figure that was above what I had been given. I asked Paul to get me the Jeep, but I wanted to see it first. Paul had it for me in 24 hours and it had everything i wanted on it. I also needed running boards added to it and the service department installed them while I waited! I got my first oil change free and I got lifetime Pa state inspection. Everyone was friendly. The only problem I had was my kidsw cried because they did not want to leave the playroom with the giant slide in it. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone. More
I went in to look for anew car. i always hated buying cars. Gordon met us, asked us questions about our needs and suggested vehicles we might be interested in. Gordon sat us down and showed us prices and payment options on vehicles and let us decide, with no pressure, which vehicle was best for us. The price was the best around, Gordon showed us the dealerships service department and introduced us to our Service Advisor. the dealership even has a loyalty program linked with Target and Best Buy that will allow us to accumualte points toward future service. I know where we will be buying our cars from now on, Country Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep. As women, my partner and I are always shown colors and other things and looked down on by the sales people. Gordon treated us with respect. Well Done! More
I initiated an online inquiry into a specific vehicle, with this dealership. What I got back felt like a form letter response, stating they had a " Large Selection of Vehicles" as well as a single preown with this dealership. I had totaly writen this dealer off, until the next day, when I recieved another form letter, this time from the president of the Dealership, Gordon Atkisson, wanting to know if they had met my expectations. I replied that they did not, and forwarded the original email, saying I felt that they had neglected to address their inventory position on the model I inquired about, and instead it seemed like they tried to lure me to coming in to talk in person, which defeated the point of the online inquiry. Mr Atkisson replied telling me that they have been doing this a long time, and they know what they are doing. He spouted percentages like 60% of all consumers buy different models than they inquire about, etc... giving the impression that perhaps they are being vague for my own good? He then goes on to say they have 2 new vehicles and several used ones available in the model i was looking for. I responded saying I would have been much happier if they simply said this in the original response to my request, since I was asking about a specific year and model in my intial inquiry. I thought the whole idea of using the "check inventory" link was to find out if they had this vechicle on the lot. The reply that follows is defensive, nasty and glib, stating that I shouldn't be telling him how to do his job, and recommending two other area dealerships, by name, that I should deal with instead because they will be "more than happy to deceive you to your liking" and he ends the email with "Your Loss, Have a good time" I could hardly believe what I was reading, this from the president of the dealership. All I was doing was responding to his request for feedback. I'll never understand why companies take the time to ask for your opinions, then try to tell you that you have no right to feel that way. If this is the way country Chrysler treats potential customers, I'd hate to see how they treat people after they close the deal and cash your check!! More
