We are die-hard Toyota loyalists beginning with a brand new 1989 Toyota Camry we purchased in San Diego, CA. Twenty-three years and five Toyotas later, we're still committed to the brand, the service and t new 1989 Toyota Camry we purchased in San Diego, CA. Twenty-three years and five Toyotas later, we're still committed to the brand, the service and the longevity factor that comes with these vehicles. While spending $2000 on our 2002 Camry was not necessarily what we had budgeted, we reazlied that we had not had any major repairs/work done on that car for five years - so prorated, it wasn't quite as alarming. As has always been my experience, I was able to get my vehicle in immediatly. Jacob was extremely helpful in explaining not only what was going on with my vehicle, but what could be done to fix it. After dealing with people who were looking to just get money out of me, it was refres was going on with my vehicle, but what could be done to fix it. I felt that he sincerely cared and I wasn't just some random customer to him. I appreciate all of the time that he took with us (and it was a good amount of time) to address all of our concerns. My first visit was with Steve/Mgr and it was a great experience. That was my 5,000 mile service call. So then I had made an apmt for my 10,000 mile service call 2:45pm and I was there at 2:41pm. I sat in front of bay door for a few minutes and the guy? came over and asked me who my rep was and I told him I didn't have one, but Steve was who I talked to last time. He had me pull into bay and told me he would get someone for me. So I waited until 3:05pm when the rep Jacob came to help me. Jacob was great! So then at 4:08pm my name was called by a gal? and I signed paperwork. She said my truck is at the end of line that I can just back out of there and go. I get in my truck and paper floor mat was left in truck. So I backed out and left. It seemed very unorganized, as no one was really in the bay directing like they did the first time I was there. Maybe people were on break at that time, I don't know. It was super busy in there, maybe that's why it didn't seem so organized? I hope this helps you understand my view on this day of service. I stopped at the dealership to schedule the 25,000 service. Jacob informed me he could have it dome and back to me in an hour. I was amazed and delighted as the mileage was 24,997. Jacob treated me with dignity and respect and had a great sense of humor as well. I felt valued as a customer. The service was completed within an hour as promised, including repairing a tire! All too often I feel businesses are lacking in customer service and that I'm simply tolerated as an interruption in an employee's day.
