Here's a follow-up on my review and experience. I have had numerous calls and follow-ups since my visit. These include calls from John, the service manager, and three customer service reps so they are honestly trying to make right on a rather bad experience. John sent someone out to my office the same day to fix my gas cap rather than making me bring it in the next day. They have also refunded some of the cost for some of my services so they are "trying" to be accomodating and appear to care about my business. So I am happier that they are trying. I am still a bit skeptical of the technicians diagnosis of issues with my car. I took my car back to the Brakes Plus where I got my shocks and struts 6 months ago and they have not yet concluded that the shocks are leaking. it could have been just accumulated road grime. They cleaned them off well and want me to drive and come back in 2 weeks so they can check them again. I took the transmission in to another place and it was diagnosed as having a little leaky seals in the transmission gasket and axel seal. The transmission fluid was drained, seals re-placed and new transmission fluid installed for $200 vs $2600. The final ourtanding issue was a broken link on the rear sway bar which is being replaced for $140 rather than $330. I had very pleasant experiences with all of these fixes which I wished I would have had the first time at Boulder Toyota. Perhaps their service department will improve in the future. Unfortunately I wont get to try them out now for over a month as my service appointment to get my rear suspension recal fixed on Aug 30th was cancelled because the parts are now on backorder again with Toyota.
