Went in for first oil changes at 9,000 miles. Report listed cabin filter as red, emergency, repair immediately. As I have only driven paved roads this surprised me. I ended up talking to the Se Report listed cabin filter as red, emergency, repair immediately. As I have only driven paved roads this surprised me. I ended up talking to the Service Manager. He basically said, it needed to be replaced, they were right and they knew best. Any experience I had with other vehicles was meaningless and pointless. After the oil change I immediately drove to a mechanic that works on my other vehicles. I took out the cabin filter and showed them. They said there was nothing wrong with the cabin filter and it would be a waste to replace it. I then looked at Toyota's maintenance guide. It says to inspect the filter and replace it at 30,000 miles. Corwin also recommended some other cleanings and additives that are not even mentioned in the maintenance guide. They wanted me to pay for $250 for services that were not needed or reccomended by Toyota on a new vehicle with only 9,000 miles. I left disappointed with Corwin Service. More

Service prices were inflated by more than twice the industry standard. (serpentine belt replacement - $300, spark plug replacement - $240, front brake pad replacement - $300) I understand it is a deal industry standard. (serpentine belt replacement - $300, spark plug replacement - $240, front brake pad replacement - $300) I understand it is a dealership and the higher price is usually justified by the efficiency but my vehicle was ready prior to receiving any update. I showed up early to grab my truck and found out it was already done, my keys had been sitting with the service manager. She went to have my truck pulled around nd gave the keys to another maintenance person, 5 minutes passed and I my truck had still not been pulled around. I went to ask the other maintenance person and they had no idea what I was referring to. After 15 minutes we found out that she had given the wrong set of keys, finally after getting my keys I went to retrieve my truck. Inefficient. More
Staff was friendly and courteous as always. I didn't want to write a critical review, but you keep pestering me via email so... I was disappointed with the services recommended and the record I didn't want to write a critical review, but you keep pestering me via email so... I was disappointed with the services recommended and the record keeping for my vehicle. The mileage listed on the report was from the last time I brought my vehicle in just over 5k ago. So obviously no one looked at it. It was recommended that I replace my battery, even though I just put a new one in two weeks ago, I don't think they actual tested anything. They just showed so generic stock photo of a battery tester... They recommended that I change my automatic transmission fluid, I have a manual transmission. Again no one bothered to check. They recommended I change my cabin air filter for $78?? again another generic photo, I know because I checked it myself right after, and it was perfectly clean. They recommended that I have serviced: diffs, transfer case, transmission, brake fluid, cooling system, and steering fluid... I had all of these done by you guys less than 20k ago. Shouldn't all that be in your records? That's one of the main reasons I keep coming back to the same place for service. Anyway, not a huge deal, but I can't help but think that someone less attentive to their car maintenance would have been duped into some very expensive, and unnecessary services. I'll keep coming back, you are my local toyota shop, and the staff is nice. but I think you need to do a better job at actually looking at each individual vehicle. More
The staff is always professional and the service is usually completed within the estimated time. My only complaint is that after a tire rotation, the service interval wasn't updated in the car's comma usually completed within the estimated time. Eddy was very helpful with the issues with my car. He even helped out with something small that service had missed (my trunk was sticky and hard to open). He was also very funny and informative.
