We went to Corwin to look at used trucks. We were looking to get a bigger pickup to pull our new travel trailer. We had a great RAM Eco Diesel 1500 but we decided it just wasn’t big enough fo We were looking to get a bigger pickup to pull our new travel trailer. We had a great RAM Eco Diesel 1500 but we decided it just wasn’t big enough for the job. We explained our needs to the salesperson and told her about our plan. We were retiring and planning to travel around the country for the next few years. She was great to work with so this review is not about her. We ended up buying a F350 with about the same miles as our pickup. It was a certified used car so we felt pretty comfortable buying it. WRONG!! Shortly after taking it home we started having transmission issues. We took it in to Corwin and they ended up keeping it for 2 weeks. Shortly after we got it back we started feeling some of the same issues, but we were heading out in a matter of days. We hit the road and made it about 200 miles and we got a warning light. pulled into a Ford Dealer in Coeur d’Alene and they were awesome. Hooked us up to the computer and told us it was a transmission issue but their was a work around that would allow us to get to our primary destination where we planned to stay for a few weeks so we could hopefully get it repaired. Very stressful to pull a trailer across the country under these circumstances! Fast forward to Indiana… we called ahead to try and set up an appointment. Had to call more than 10 dealerships to find one that could even look at it. We ended up taking it an hour away to Pearson’s Ford. Shout out to Bill because he’s been awesome. HERE is the kicker and the reason for this review🤬 Our truck has been in for the same problem 3 times. The third time was when we took it in. The other 2 times were with the previous owner and the problem was never fixed! From what we’re hearing there is absolutely no excuse for this. Corwin Ford you suck! Your incompetence and dishonesty are what give car dealers a bad name. Buyers beware!!! More
