A nightmare with no end If I could give no stars I would. We purchased a vehicle on 10/21/14 from the dealer; neither us nor our lending institution have received licensing or title despite numerous requests On Oct 21, 2014 my husband and I purchased a 03 Chevy Avalanche ¾ ton with an 8.1L engine from Coon Rapids Chrysler. My husband worked with salesman A to arrange the purchase of the vehicle, until the date of pickup. When we arrived to pick up the vehicle it was stated that A was sick and several sales members were involved in completing the purchase. We purchased the vehicle with personal financing through our local lending institution. December 5, 2014 our lending institution called us to see if we had received the title for the truck, as they require the title as the lien holder. We had not. I called Coon Rapids Chrysler immediately to find out why the process was taking so long. I spoke with D. She told me that she was aware that the process was taking longer, as the dealership DID NOT have a clear title for the vehicle and was working on a lien release so it could be transferred to us. How could they sell a vehicle without a clear title?! D assured me this problem would undoubtedly be resolved before my temporary plates expired on January 22, 2015 and that the dealership would pay for any costs associated with expediting the process. On Wednesday Dec 31st, again our lending institution called us to inquire about the title. We still had not received it. On Jan 2, 2015 my husband contacted the Sales Manager A to find out what was going on. A returned his call in approximately 30 minutes and informed my husband that they had NOT yet been able to obtain a clear title/lien release for the vehicle. A promised to keep us informed and updated on the situation. We again informed them that the temporary plates on the vehicle expire on Jan 22, 2015 and they again assured us that the problem would be resolved by then. On January 9th I AGAIN called to find out the progress of the title transfer, since nobody has ever called us or our lender to keep us appraised of the situation. I left a message for A to please call me back regarding the problem. As of today, he has never called back. I spoke with D on Jan 9 and found that zero progress has been made on the title transfer and only after AGAIN reiterating that the temporary plates expire on Jan 22,2015 and that this vehicle is my primary vehicle and I NEED to have legal registration was I finally issued another temporary plate. During this conversation D divulged personal problems that she has had with the current lien holder in an irritating attempt to make me believe that her dealership is also a ‘victim’ in this situation. It was a deplorable attempt to shift our frustration with their dealership. Coon Rapids Chrysler sold this vehicle to us and accepted payment from our lender. This is clearly their problem. I then contacted the Minnesota Dealer Unit to inform them of the ongoing problem that we are having with the title transfer at Coon Rapids Chrysler. The MNDU contacted D on Jan 9th to inform them that they have received a complaint and that they will follow up on 02/23/15 with this problem. We have had no communication with the dealership and the dealership has made zero effort to contact us and keep us updated on the situation since Jan 9. To remain in good standing with our lender, despite proper proof of ownership, we have made multiple payments on this vehicle. We have made several repairs that have cost in excess of $400, put new tires on the vehicle, and made cosmetic improvements. This is a primary use vehicle for our family; we need the proper registration & title transfer immediately. We are incredibly disappointed with lack of professionalism by the sales & business staff, the lackadaisical sense of urgency, and the terrible communication and customer service. The process of purchasing a vehicle at Coon Rapids Chrysler is nightmare with no end in sight. We would NEVER recommend this business to anybody. I would also like it noted that we have had zero communication with the dealer and they have made no attempts to contact us to keep us informed of the ongoing problem since January 9, 2015. We have filed a formal complaint with the Minnesota Dealer Unit and a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau on January 19th, to which the dealership has still not responded to. More
overall great experience! I went to this dealership chasing a car they had and I was working with another dealership that was going to get the car from them and lease it to me. I went to look at it and they wanted to work with me to get my business. I gave them a shot to beat the lease deal and payment. And they did in a fairly timely fashion as well. got my payments where I needed them and it was effortless! The sales staff and management and underwriters were really good. I would recommend this dealership to anyone! More

She took the time to explain every little detail of my new car showed me all my options told me everything the car did. while I was looking which was about 2 weeks she kept in touch but NEVER was pushy. Very pleasant auto buying experience It's a little scary for a female to go car shopping buy herself, I hate it. I was all prepared for the pushy salesman. When I walked in I was surprised 3 or more pushy salesmen didn't walk up to me, so I had some time to walk around and look at different models. I knew I Wanted a Jeep Cherokee and some of the add ons I wanted but not sure of everything I wanted. A very nice young man named Jesse walked up to me and asked if I had any questions, he was very helpful answering everything,he showed me different options and was very helpful, still not trying to push me into anything. We took 2 different style Cherokees for a ride so I could see the difference in the two. After I decided what Jeep I wanted he was very helpful going over all the different options. He even saved me money helping me to not get options I would never use. After all was done he sat in the new Jeep with me and showed me how many of the features worked. genuine people exist Carolyn was by far one of the most genuine sales person we've dealt with. She was not a typical pushy sales persona.
