They have always taken very good care of my mustang and treated me with respect (unlike other area Ford dealerships). That is why when I needed a daily driver, I went to Conway Ford over anyone else. Would give zero stars if possible. Do not use Conway Ford Service. Have had multiple bad experiences here. Had my previous leased vehicle in for service to replace a rattling side mirror. Had to bring it right back as it was installed crooked and with a gasket sticking way out, very visible. How do you miss something extremely obvious and let it go out the door? Bought new vehicle at Conway recently despite prior issue. 4 months and 5k miles later brought it back in for a delamination issue on the drivers’ door keypad panel and a crooked sunroof sliding cover. Things I considered to be manufacturing defects. They said the delamination was a “hit” and not covered and the crooked sunroof cover was “normal”. Argued the point and got nowhere. One service tech said they sent pictures of the delamination to Ford, and Ford had denied it. After arguing with multiple people, turns out nothing was sent to Ford at all, ever. Total xx line. Apparently the first step is to try and get the customer to pay for warranty related fixes as I’m sure that looks much better on their books. Took vehicle to a local body shop for second opinion / sanity check for the delamination issue. They agreed it was a defect as there is a mounting clip right at that spot. Just by chance there was a Myrtle Beach Ford (Beach Ford) employee in the waiting room for other business and asked what was up. Explained situation, took it to Beach Ford (25 mintues away) and both items fixed under warrantee as they were “definitely not correct” per their wonderful and personable service staff. In fact, the first Beach Ford tech for the sunroof issue said it was “OK”, but service rep said she was not satisfied with that report and went back for another review and they fixed that issue. Go Beach Ford ! I know that is my new dealership. More
Great experiences started with a phone call several years ago when I wasn't a customer yet. It was a service call for a small emergency while I was traveling and the service department that I was affiliated ago when I wasn't a customer yet. It was a service call for a small emergency while I was traveling and the service department that I was affiliated with at another dealership didn't pick up my call, knowing I had an issue and was out of state. Long story short, I called the next nearest dealership, knowing it was only a few minutes before closing on a Friday night and a very knowledgeable service tech answered the call and took care of my problem with reassurance. That is where Conway Ford began with me. All calls for scheduling appointments are handled with very pleasant employees. The purchase of this new vehicle was so easy. First of all, I had no idea on that day I went in for an oil change that I would be considering a newer vehicle. I inquired and the rest is history. I never had any concerns. It was ordered and Kimberly Seitz explained the process with ordering a new vehicle and that is exactly how it transpired. Kimberly Seitz is a wonderful sales rep. She doesn't impose any pressure and makes you feel like a friend. I totally love my new vehicle, the sales and service departments and knowing I can trust my local Ford Dealership in Conway, SC. I look forward to doing my service with Conway Ford for many years. More
