Evan has an unique and unconventional way of selling cars, but it works. I found his vehicles online and I called. I was surprised to hear him answer at 10pm, but the advertisement said 'call anytime' cars, but it works. I found his vehicles online and I called. I was surprised to hear him answer at 10pm, but the advertisement said 'call anytime'. We arranged a meeting in the morning to look at the car. We put down a deposit while we arranged the rest of the loan paperwork through our credit union. He held the car until the next weekend for us. Thanks More

On March 1st, 2011, I had paid Evan Connor of Connormotorsales, LLC. a deposit of $5000 to hold a vehicle he had for sale. He agreed to hold it for me and take the vehicle off of websites such as Connormotorsales, LLC. a deposit of $5000 to hold a vehicle he had for sale. He agreed to hold it for me and take the vehicle off of websites such as, cars.com, autotrader, etc. We had an electronic agreement that he would "hold" the vehicle for me for 30 days. In which time I could arrange to fly to Louisville, KY. from Chicago, IL. and complete the sale. He emailed me on the 10th and asked if I had an ETA as to when I would be picking up the vehicle. I told him that I was aiming for the 21st. He replied that it was perfect. On the 14th, he emailed me back saying that we might have to move it back a week since his pregnant wife is to be induced on the 21st. I complied to his request to move my arrival a week later. On the 19th, he emailed me back once again saying that the vehicle's transmission "went out" and he had refunded my money back, through paypal. There was no further explanation to this. There were no attempts in finding out what I wanted to do at that point, such as to wait for vehicle to be repaired, purchase as-is with discount. I was given no options whatsoever. It was a bilateral decision to agree on $5000 deposit. I believe it should have been the same in terms of moving my money. For whatever reason, the agreement should not have been terminated without discussing with me all options that are available. Mr. Connor has evaded all of my attempts to contact him in the hopes of gaining further insight and completing this transaction; through email and phone calls, hanging up on my brother on one occasion. For this reason, I suspect that Mr. Connor has favored a better deal than what I initially offered. I would have willingly negotiated my first offer, had Mr. Connor alerted me to this likely scenario. My hope is to alert prospective buyers of Mr. Connor and that he may choose to pull a fast one on you too. With his lies and evasive tactics, I am quite lucky to have been refunded. Don't be fooled by all the satisfactory testimonials on his website, as they have been screened, naturally. Instead, look toward his ebay feedback, as you shall find a few blemishes of dishonesty there. A medium which he has no control over, unlike his own website. More
