I thought they were so snobby, I went there, to look at a cx-9, I was just looking into them, I had a leased kia that was coming up soon, and I wanted to finance this time. The sales guy came out and wanted cx-9, I was just looking into them, I had a leased kia that was coming up soon, and I wanted to finance this time. The sales guy came out and wanted to make the deal make the deal, He was short and seemed irritated the whole time with me. I really had not done much in the way of research on what I wanted to do yet. I test drove the cx-9 and liked it, told them they could let me know what they could do on it, with my lease. He was immediately snobby about my lease, saying "what do we even want with a basic model kia" acted like it was crappy, and not good enough. But were going to take, kept saying things like "we are doing you a favor, and you will thank us for this" When I wasn't sure I wanted to make the deal he got all "well then I have wasted my whole morning" I wanted to haggle but they were not big on letting me haggle.. wouldn't budge much. I then told them I had to leave that they could work on financing and see what they got. Well I got a call back, saying I had terrible credit and they could not finance the car (we have always had good credit) The sales man then went so far as to lecture me on who I needed to "right my wrongs" like I was some kind of scumb bag who doesn't pay my bills. When I asked for a copy of this credit report he refused to give it to me. I pulled up my own later that night and it turns out there is a serious mistake on my credit report that we are in the process of having the bank fix. It was there mistake, we did not do anything wrong, or miss any payments.. and according to our report we did, our score is pretty good anyways, it was not the same score Mazda told us it was. Part of me thinks someone came along and bought the mazda at full price or something.. had a better trade in or what ever. They just blew us off after that. This was about 6 weeks ago. I have since test drove other cars and decided on a Venza instead. I got one from Kia, where they haggled willingly, and got me a lovely finance rate on my new to me Venza. No idea who peed on the mazda guys corn flakes that morning but all he did was act like he was better than me the whole time. More
