My encounter with Gary Cooper, the sales associate turned out to be the best thing for me. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicles, their history and answered my questions to my satisfaction. He did not try to influence me in any way nor did he use salesman tactics to try to sell a vehicle. He was calm, patient and a pleasure to work with. My experience with all the staff at Conley's that I encountered were wonderful! More

Gary did an excellent job keeping me informed and was very patient when my wife and I kept changing our minds about buying the car. Love the Forester, our 4th Subaru and am impressed by Conley staff. The tech guy, Tom Redmond, as also helpful with navigation system and StarLink questions. In my view they went the extra mile to make us satisfied customers, which we are. One of the most important things that turned me on to Conley and Gary Staples was getting a price for the new car and my trade in a reasonable period of time. Other dealers never did after hours of waiting. More

Gary took the time to list all my options and ran a car fax report on my car for me. I choose not to trade in. Not sure I want to part with it. The finance guy was busy so Robert stepped in And went over everything line by line, he was very patient with me as I read everything and asked questions. As I added options, I did not take car with me. Upon pick up everything was great and Tom spent 2 hours with me going over all the features and I have a follow up appointment to cover any questions and recap on forgotten items. As a older women I felt very comfortable working with Gary and team. Thank you Conley Subaru More

The sales staff, including Christian McCain and Manager Robert Mulroy, was attentive and didn't waste any of my time. The vehicle I wanted was not on site, but was delivered in the timeframe as promised, and at the best price I could find in the area. I highly recommend Conley Subaru for anyone in the Suncoast region. -Jordan More
Worst experience with a service department ever. Absolutely devastated with the experience we received. Booked our Subaru Impreza in as we had two issues - unable to take key out of ignition when in Absolutely devastated with the experience we received. Booked our Subaru Impreza in as we had two issues - unable to take key out of ignition when in park and car drifting when traveling at speed on the highway. The latter we have been dealing with since we purchased the car three years ago. When we arrived at the service department they agreed that the key was an electrical issue and they would need to order a switch. They said it would take a couple of days so they offered us a loaner. They also asked if they could take the car onto the highway to assess the drifting situation. We agreed. When we had heard nothing from them two days later we called. We were told that nobody was available to speak to us as it was 1pm on a Saturday so we asked that someone call us on the Monday. Nobody called us on Monday so on Tuesday we tried calling them again to find out what was happening with our car. When we finally got to speak to someone they shouted at us that they had called and left voicemails as the work on the car was completed within two hours the day we dropped it off. They confirmed that they did not replace the necessary part and instead greased the key - this had been done previously and not worked. Not what they had agreed to do at all. We asked for the manager to call us. We called two further times. Nobody returned our calls. So we called Subaru Head Office. They in turn called Conley who said they were going to call the Sheriff if we didn't return the loaner! Seriously you think we wanted a Subaru Forester. We had checked our phone for 5 days and they had not called us, nor had they left any voicemails saying the car was ready. We checked our phone records with AT & T and there was no record of a single phone call from them. We printed off the records and went into the dealership. The service manager Alan Conley was so rude. I politely showed him the phone records asking him to please show me where he had called us and he just said your phone records mean nothing to me and pushed them away. He then said that we had run up a bill of $700 which they would waive. Okay so let's look at that shall we. In the next breath he said the loaner was $40 per day. Because they had not called us we had had the loaner for 6 days. And just to be factual we had done 60 miles in those 6 days. So at $40 per day that would be $240. They greased the key and they aligned the tires. When we asked them if they had taken the car on the highway to experience the drifting they said they had not. They had spent two hours on the car. So somehow in two hours they say the bill for an alignment and greasing a key was $460. We said but you had agreed to replace the switch and he then lied and said they had never agreed to do that. Well why would we accept greasing a key when that had previously been done? And if you think about it why would they need to give us a loaner if they only intended to grease a key which would take only a short time. Many a time we have sat in the service department for a couple of hours while they complete an oil change or similar. At this point every time we tried to speak he shouted over us and told us to take our business elsewhere. The entire exchange took less than two minutes during which time he was very rude and lied about the work they had agreed to do. I should also point out that this work was under warranty! We have now put this matter in the hands of Subaru Head Office. We are sending them copies of our phone records which show no calls from Conley Subaru. Conley Subaru have not fixed either of the problems. The key is still sticking and the car is still drifting. . If I could give them zero stars I would. No company should ever speak to a customer in this way. I will never buy another Subaru if I have to deal with dealerships like this. They are doing Subaru a huge disservice. More
"Great Service and a Pleasurable Experience!" We were looking for a reliable, inexpensive, lower mileage, used car that we could leave in Florida so we would not have to drive back and forth to In We were looking for a reliable, inexpensive, lower mileage, used car that we could leave in Florida so we would not have to drive back and forth to Indiana. We found a 2008 Kia, on line at Conley Buick in Bradenton, FL., that fit the bill. On our way down to Port Charlotte we stopped at Conley to see and test drive the car. We met a very nice sales person "Gary Cooper", not the actor, who showed us every courtesy. We were able to come to an agreement and license and title the car car within three hours and my wife drove the car to our home in Port Charlotte. Thank you Gary and Conley Buick. More
