I specifically discussed with the man that took my car that I wanted to make sure my car was recalibrate after everything they do to my car. Because the last time it was not and i was on the interstate, a that I wanted to make sure my car was recalibrate after everything they do to my car. Because the last time it was not and i was on the interstate, alone and after hours and it was a mess. I got a mile away and had to come back so they could recalibrate my car. Not happy More

We had our vehicle towed to Conklin Salina when our transmission went out. We purchased and had installed a brand new transmission for about $7,000. Upon pickup there was a hose hanging down to the g transmission went out. We purchased and had installed a brand new transmission for about $7,000. Upon pickup there was a hose hanging down to the ground which they told me was normal and refused to fix. We returned our vehicle to the shop soon after because upon pickup it was leaking transmission fluid all over our garage floor which had never happened prior to the new transmission installation and also to diagnose a check engine light. They found about $1500 worth it problems which we had fixed — one of which was a recall on the airbag. Upon pickup the “service air bag” light was newly glowing and a button on the dash was crammed in and not working. So much for free safety recall fixes. We took it back one more time to have them make things right (especially with the red fluid still leaking all over our garage and driveway). They then charged us $85 to tell told us the leaking fluid was coolant and suggested a list of about twenty other repairs that they said we needed to get done. We have since gotten a respected second opinion who states that we were way overcharged for our transmission, and showed us where transmission fluid is leaking between the transfer case and new transmission and that the problem occurred because the new transmission was installed improperly and our warranty should cover the repair. We are going to try and give Conklin one more chance to make it right this week. Hopefully we won’t get charged more money or have newly identified things wrong with our vehicle upon pickup again. We have a call scheduled with the service manager tomorrow. More
