Conklin Service in Newton has always treated me well. I have found them to be honest—never trying to sell me something I do not need. The reason for the 4 out of 5 stars is the limited hours they are ope I have found them to be honest—never trying to sell me something I do not need. The reason for the 4 out of 5 stars is the limited hours they are open for service. No appointments are accepted after 2:40 and they are closed on Saturdays. This creates difficulty for me to get my car in for service because mine is a traditional 5-days-per-week job. I also live a few miles away so if my car has to stay in the shop, I have to arrange rides. So, all in all, I’m happy with the service there but I wish they could expand their hours some. More

Service is pricing itself out of my budget. Last visit I was quoted $660 for recent repairs and was charged $950.
