I had a very disappointing experience with Confidence Ford in Norman. I initially test drove a truck they had advertised online, and when I returned to begin negotiations, the sales manager presented a p Ford in Norman. I initially test drove a truck they had advertised online, and when I returned to begin negotiations, the sales manager presented a price that was over $5,000 higher than the internet price. I was given the same internet price from the sales man minutes earlier. When I questioned the discrepancy, the manager became argumentative. After some back and forth, he "corrected" the price by lowering it by $2,000, but it still remained several thousand dollars above the advertised price. I called him out on this again, and he responded by belittling me. I provided my contact information and left. Later, I had someone else contact the dealership and work with a different sales team. After a couple of days, we agreed on a price slightly below the advertised internet price. The new sales manager assured us that the truck was available and told us that if we could arrive that evening, the truck would be ours. We immediately began heading to the dealership, a 20-minute drive. However, just before we arrived, the sales manager called to inform us that the truck was now on a "Stop Sale" and could no longer be sold. He promised to figure out the issue and get back to us, but after several attempts to reach him the following day, he avoided my calls with excuses. I then called their sister dealership to inquire about purchasing the truck there, only to be told that the vehicle had just been sold that day. At this point I reached out to different dealership because they obviously sold the truck to someone for more. A few days later, the original salesman left me a voicemail claiming he had good news about the truck I had test-driven. (he had no clue I knew it sold already). Meanwhile, I was still communicating with the sales manager, who continued to give me the same excuse about the "Stop Sale." I called the salesman back, and he informed me that the truck I was interested in had sold a couple of days earlier, but he had a similar truck in a different color at the same price. I agreed to consider it and asked him to send over the details for review. To my frustration, the information he sent was for a completely different truck with a lower trim level and a different year model. When I asked about this, he claimed it was sent to the wrong person. Annoyed but still willing to give them a chance, I reviewed the correct truck listing and confirmed the price with him. I was eager to move forward, only for him to inform me that the price was now "too far apart to make a deal". When I called him out on this, he falsely claimed that this truck he had just sent me and that we agreed on a price to minutes earlier was different and the one he had in mind had sold days earlier. I knew this wasn’t true, as I had been monitoring their website and was in contact with their sister dealership, where the only truck meeting my criteria was the one he had originally sent me. In the end, it became clear that Confidence Ford was not willing to honor their advertised prices and was engaging in deceptive practices. The entire experience involved dishonesty, miscommunication, and a lack of professionalism. Our family has previously purchased multiple vehicles at this location when it was Reynolds Ford, but the new management’s approach to business is utterly disappointing. I strongly advise others to avoid Confidence Ford in Norman to avoid similar frustrations. More
Purchased a Bronco in March of 2023 and a major issue with paper work. We told them to send title to PO Box not street address. Called several times and was told “don’t worry it’ll show up, if I doesn’t we will send you a new paper tag and will pay the penalty”. Guess they didn’t care after they take your money. We tracked down the title work at the State Capitol in OKC because it was undeliverable due to address “The Street Address we told them not to use”. We had to help ourselves because this dealership would not. I did post a review ( maxed out before I could tell the whole story). I did receive a response to call the general manager, they wanted me to call the dealership! If I ran a business and noticed a negative review I would be contacting the customer. I responded with you can call me. A few days later I received a text! Not a call but a text. I was on vacation on the east coast and the general manager said he would call me in a couple of weeks when I returned. That was in April of 2023 and I’m still waiting. Don’t waste your time and money here, they don’t care after they get your money. Maybe the General Manager will see this one and finally call. I’m looking for a new pickup and this dealership is out. More
I had setup an appointment early in the week for 10am Friday 12-20-24 to get my 2023 Ford F150 Limited serviced, warranty repair and a recall. I arrived at 9:50. The service advisor was advised I need to be gone by noon for another appt giving them 2 hours. At 11:10 and after waiting for an hour and twenty minutes as I walked out of the customer lounge I observed my pickup was just getting pulled in for service. They had not touched it. Why make an appointment if it doesn’t mean anything? I will not be returning to Confidence Ford of Norman to get service going forward.. More
Amazing experience buying my new truck here. I've never had better service from any other dealership. My 2023 f150 power boost lariat was purchased in November and has been to the shop 3 times already with about 8700 miles. Two times I was told everything checked out fine regarding the error code of high vol and has been to the shop 3 times already with about 8700 miles. Two times I was told everything checked out fine regarding the error code of high voltage warning. Now it’s in the shop for malfunctioning power train. First new truck I’ve ever bought with this many problems and no one seems to want to resolve my issues from Ford! In my opinion a new truck should last longer than 8700 miles while still under warranty!! More
