I picked the car up and two days later The car wouldn’t move when put in drive. There is a problem with the transmission. It’s a known issue on this vehicle that is only 10 years old. Sad! More

Hi Joe, I had the vehicle towed back to you last Friday. The first thing they said was that the car needed a battery. I had just put a battery in it in September. They told me that because they didn’t install the battery they couldn’t honor any warranty. I gave them the number to the shop and they did state that the battery was just installed in September. Savannah said we can take your battery out you can return it and we can charge you for a battery. So my daughter goes picks up the battery and returns it. The next morning they call and say your correct it’s the transmission and part is $4000.00 and the labor is $2000.00. That will be $264.99. I have the mileage records from the last time the car was in their shop and this time. The car has maybe 10 miles on it. If they could see that it’s the transmission now, they knew it was the transmission when they serviced the recalls because the car hasn’t been driven. They charged me for a battery and a diagnostic for a car that had been previously serviced by you. The only reason why I had the car returned to your shop was because I wanted to give Nissan a opportunity to look at the car again considering there is a known transmission issue with this make and model year. I would not have incurred an additional expenses for a battery when it was clear that the battery was not the issue. I feel that these charges are unfair since the issue is clearly the transmission. I would like you to uninstall the battery and remove it from the final bill in addition to the diagnostic fee that I was never told about when I spoke to Savannah.
