Poor service, terrible follow up, slow repairs So ya this service center had my car for almost 2 weeks. I called my service advisor to follow up because she never called me. I left her a message sh So ya this service center had my car for almost 2 weeks. I called my service advisor to follow up because she never called me. I left her a message she never called me back. I then called another advisor they called me back but never left a message. The manager of the service department finally returned my call the following afternoon. They needed to replace the blue tooth hands free system and navigation unit it took 4 Days to get the part and another 2 for them to be installed. They originally offered me a rental initially I turned it down but then had a change in plans we’ll guess what I called them back to make arrangements to get on and guess what never was called back the left me with a borrowed vehicle from a friend that had no a/c and the weather was over 100 it made the 1.5 hour car ride sooo enjoyable!! I’ll never go back to Concord Honda luckily there is another Honda Service center the next town over I’ll be going there from now on! More
Horrible Experience My experience was horrible to say the least. I made an appointment for my 2013 Honda Accord for a recall issue. When I arrived at 10:15 am I waite My experience was horrible to say the least. I made an appointment for my 2013 Honda Accord for a recall issue. When I arrived at 10:15 am I waited 30 minutes for someone to even acknowledge I was there and that was after I had to ask if I needed to reschedule. There were guy's walking around talking about what they had planned for the upcoming weekend etc. Then I was told it would take 2 hours. Once I got shuttled home I never received a call so I called the dealer at 1pm just to get routed around in the phone system five times. Once I actually was able to get a person to speak to me instead of transferring me or putting me on hold for a length of time I was told, "we are extremely busy." I told the gal I had my car there and it should have been ready an hour ago. Again, I was asked to hold for her to check. She stated it wasn't ready but should be soon. I asked if she could have a shuttle come get me and I would wait at the dealership. She replied, "yes, someone would be on there way." An hour later I called back inquiring about the shuttle and a gal said, "she could not find the driver." At this point I am late for work and I have no car. Out of complete frustration I asked to speak to the manager. Scott took the call and stated, "he would have a couple of his guys drive my car to me." After I hang up I receive a call from the shuttle driver that he is out in the front of my home. I told him what Scott had said and asked that he get in contact with Scott. Ten minutes later (2:30pm) 4 hours after dropping off my car - my car was delivered to my home. This is completely unacceptable and there is no excuse for something like this to happen. It seems like one hand doesn't know what the others is doing over there. I will NEVER return to that dealership again. More

My passenger-side mirror had been smashed by a runaway garbage can; I had hourly appointments scheduled at my office in WC and leaving for Sacramento immediately that evening. From my perspective Driving the Freeway to Sacramento was an accident about to happen. I immediately researched agencies with mirror and installation possibilities. I was told by other agencies earlier in the day, that this same service would undoubtedly take a day to order (understandable) and several hours to install. I finally discovered Concord Honda had a mirror in stock. Upon arriving at Concord Honda, I discussed my plight with Kenji and experienced efficient, expedient, respectful, courteous and professional assistance. I was on the road within LESS THAN HOUR! Thank you Concord Honda and a Big Thank You to Kenji who turned me into a future Concord Honda customer! Woo Hoo. More

The moment I got to the sales floor I was nicely greeted from one of the receptionist and was asked politley to have a seat while they notify them I was there for my appointment. Right on time they introduced themselves, offered some refreshments and snacks while I wait. Best customer service I’ve ever experienced. Great car, sneaky technicians/service advisors, kind manager SEPTEMBER 2017 - Bought my HRV EX brand new - thank you Cristina Sanchez, very sweet and informative! APRIL 27, 2018 - Went in for just an oil chan SEPTEMBER 2017 - Bought my HRV EX brand new - thank you Cristina Sanchez, very sweet and informative! APRIL 27, 2018 - Went in for just an oil change, service advisor told me my tire had a bubble in it and showed me a photo on his phone, did not offer to show me in person, told me it could blow out while driving therefore I need to purchase an entirely new tire. Went in for a oil change, left spending a total of $299 including the new tire. APRIL 30, 2018 - Low tire pressure light went off, had my insurance company check my tires on the side of the road and they confirmed tire pressure in each tire was fine. Technician must have bumped some electrical wiring while installing my new tire. MAY 20, 2018 - Low tire pressure light kept coming on again, but discovered a nail in a different tire. I was advised by several friends who work on cars that it could simply be patched. Went into Honda, the same service advisor who pressured me into buying a new tire told me he'd get a technician's advice. Sitting in the driver's seat I watched him through my right sideview mirror ask two technicians who both looked as if they nodded "Yes, it can be fixed." They left, service advisor came around to my window and tells me it cannot be fixed, and proceeded to show me a new tire and the price that was already up on his screen. I stopped him mid sentence and left. Came back with my dad, we talked to two technicians again, they ended up patching up my tire with absolutely no issue for $30. Thought you said it couldn't be fixed? Hmm. JUNE 11, 2018- Contacted the service manager via email and told him my complaint, mainly focusing on the service advisor who tried forcing me to buy another new tire when, in proof, I did not need to. Service manager Scott Hirayama was thankfully very courteous in his response and action to inspect my vehicle. We made an appointment to do a hard reset on the TPMS, reset my tire pressure, and road test my car to ensure the light didn't come on again. Gave me a free car wash and offered future vehicle accommodations. JUNE 25 - The small orange light that tells me which gear I am in went out. Had to rely on the dashboard to tell what gear I was in when parking at nighttime. Not devastating, but by this time car is only nine months old. JULY 23, 2018 - Finally had enough of relying on the dashboard and had Honda take a look at it. They didn't believe that there was an orange light there until I (THANKFULLY) showed them that I caught it on video with date/time of the light going on and off and then going completely out. Wasif Khan handled my situation very well, ordered the new part for me, and scheduled an appointment for them to install it since it would take a few days for it to come in. Of course no charge for anything, it was under warranty. Free car wash. OVERALL, I am satisfied with my vehicle style, gas, features, etc.; satisfied with the customer service I received when something went wrong - the service manager Scott Hirayama and service advisors Wasif Khan were kind and helpful; disappointed with the light going out on a nine month old car; disappointed with all the time I spent going back and forth to Honda making appointments for all these issues; and absolutely disgusted by the service advisor who lied to my face about trying to get me to purchase an entirely new tire even though the the technicians he asked both seemed to confirm it could be fixed, and the fact that I ended up getting it fixed for a mere $30. Honda is OK, but definitely watch out for some of those technicians and/or service advisors. They must make commission on the parts they get people to buy... seems like it anyway. I've also read three other reviews about people who go in for an oil change or something minor, and end up having an issue with their vehicle that was not there before they went in for their oil change/minor issue. I'm grateful for the service I received, but the other issues left a bad taste in my mouth. Can't say whether or not I'd recommend people to come here since I constantly have the feeling that something will go wrong with my vehicle within a matter of weeks and I'll have to go back in again.
