From the start, Vinny, and everyone at the dealership, were very kind and welcoming and quick to assess my needs and wants. Vinny gave the best price upfront, was always honest, and always accessible for an answer, whether through phone or email. The day I picked up my new car, everything was all set to go for me. I have never been in and out of picking up a new car so fast in all the years I have been buying/leasing cars. I especially liked that a follow up phone call within a couple days of picking up my car was received to ensure I loved my new wheels, and if I had any questions! I would definitely recommend this dealership as there is not one bad thing I can say - who would not want an easy, quick and efficient process? Why make buying/leasing a car stressful?! More
Outstanding Experience Yields a Loyal Returning Customer I have leased several different makes of vehicles over my lifetime, always opting for the unique experience of driving varied vehicles. However, in 2 I have leased several different makes of vehicles over my lifetime, always opting for the unique experience of driving varied vehicles. However, in 2008, I walked into Competetion Infiniti to lease my first Infiniti. I was treated with the utmost respect and, unlike other dealerships, felt no pressure at all to buy a vehicle from them. I sensed a confidence that their vehicles and outstanding service spoke volumes for them without the need to pressure. When I leased that first vehicle, I was given the best price hands down among several other Infiniti dealerships. While price is always important to me, I was equally sold on Competetion Infiniti because of the professionalism displayed by every person in every department of the dealership. I have always walked out of Competition Infiniti with a smile on my face, satisfied that I was treated like a valued person rather than just a potential profit for the dealership. Needless to say, in March 2014, I recently leased my third vehicle from Competition Infiniti and hope to continue to do so in the future . They are a great dealership and I would highly recommend them to anyone. More
Stay AWAY from this service department!! I have an Infiniti that I have been taking to this service center for a while. The service advisor was always very pleasant as was the staff, but this is all a Infiniti that I have been taking to this service center for a while. The service advisor was always very pleasant as was the staff, but this is all a large DECEPTION. Recently had my vehicle there for a routine oil change and tire rotation...all routine maintenance. The service advisor called me that there were "other things that needed attention", particularly my right headlight high beam was out and that the bulb would cost $310 with tax to replace. I asked the advisor well if you had to replace the high beam might as well replace the low beam as well since the labor would be the same. He AGREED. Problem: THE CAR ONLY HAS ONE HID HEADLIGHT. When I did further research, I found out that a failed high beam has nothing to do with the headlight bulb. I did more investigation and found a blown fuse in the IPDM (the main fuse module under the hood) The fuses were $4 for a pack of 5. I replaced the fuse and lo and behold, the high beam worked. $310 for a new bulb, really? I can only surmise that they would have replaced the fuse for $310. If this is not the epitome of deception I don't know what is. One thing a customer expects from his dealer and particularly service center is honesty and trust. This dealer violated BOTH of these attributes. More
Just bought a certified 2010 g37x coupe and had a great experience with Competition Infiniti in Smithtown. Within minutes of me walking into the dealership Vanessa Caruso approached me asking if I needed experience with Competition Infiniti in Smithtown. Within minutes of me walking into the dealership Vanessa Caruso approached me asking if I needed help and answered all of my questions. She took me on numerous test drives in different vehicles, she was so nice and helpful. I have to say she was very persistent but do not be mistaken, she was not pushy, to me there is a big difference. Once I decided that I was going to try and see my least options, I spoke with Darlene Titus (the finance manager). At first she tried to see if I qualified for a lease, I knew my credit wasn't built enough for that so of course I was not approved but she did not give up on me. She was able to get me a VERY low interest rate WITH INFINITI FINANCIAL regardless of my credit history not being so good and not having any open lines of credit or previous car loans. Now, I have shopped around before, and I was given interest rates over double what she offered me or I couldn't get approved at all without a co-signer elsewhere. I couldn't be happier with my new car, I never would have thought that I could get a car like this especially at the rate that I got it for. My fiancée used to work in the car business for a few years and was also very pleased with everything that was done for me, and very surprised at the low interest rate! I will recommend anyone to Vanessa and Darlene. More
Scheduled to have my Q50 delivered on November 29. Waited around all day for the vehicle to show up. Called multiple times with no callback. Finally got in touch with someone who told me that they weren't going to be able to make it because the ran out of temporary license plates. They rescheduled the delivery for 2 days later and were late delivering it. They've had a month to send me my new license plates. Today is the last day before the temporary plate expires and I still cannot get any answers from the dealer as to where my plates are. Furthermore, I get a call from the dealership last week informing me that they made a mistake on the lease that I signed a month ago and they need to mail me a new one to sign. This explains why Infiniti has no record that I have leased the vehicle, so I have no IFS account number and now I cannot make my first payment to them. More
I had a 2014 infiniti Q50 delivered to me for my wife's birthday on November 14th. The car pulled up with no license plate frame or the plastic plate displaying the dealer info on the back. It looke wife's birthday on November 14th. The car pulled up with no license plate frame or the plastic plate displaying the dealer info on the back. It looked like it had just come off the truck and not been ready for delivery. The front had the plastic puece that's supposed to hold the plate but nothing was in it. No temporary plate and no dealership display plate. It just made the car look very incomplete but I didn't sweat it. I still gave the delivery guy $20. I called the dealership on December 12 to tell them I hadn't received my license plates and my temporary was about to expire. No returned call. I then called 2 days after it expired, no returned call. I also left a message during these calls. I wasn't able to talk to anybody until December 20, after driving around for 6 days on an expired tag and what iwas told was there was a problem with the paperwork, but they had just fixed it and would hopefully be going out on. Monday, (this was Friday) I said to myself this is ridiculous. Pit didn't even sound like a priority and I wasn't offered anything to make this right but I didn't even care. What I do care about is it is now Thursday December 26th and I still have not received my plates. I see why this dealer does not participate in Dealerrater.com, they are terrible!! I sold cars for 7 years and would never have a customer driving around for almost 2 weeks on an expired temp. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS DEALER, AND BY THE WAY I HAVENT HEARD FROM MANNY ONE TIME DURING THIS ENTIRE ORDEAL. Not once. More
Thank you for recommending that I go to ANOTHER dealer in order for my parents to buy out my lease at least end. I found a dealer that truly wants to keep a customer. I find it upsetting that your dealer r order for my parents to buy out my lease at least end. I found a dealer that truly wants to keep a customer. I find it upsetting that your dealer required that my parents buy the extended service contract in order for them to buy the leased car at the end of my lease program. This dealership has THE WORST customer service. The sales people take several days to return calls. The management makes promises they don't keep. I still haven't received any welcome letters, cards, sales people take several days to return calls. The management makes promises they don't keep. I still haven't received any welcome letters, cards, phone calls. The salesperson once took a couple if weeks to return a call to address a situation. The manager eventually called and promised to drop a gift in the mail as an apology. That was a month ago. I now realize that he was just trying to placate me. I recently called re: some issues about my car. Still haven't received a call back. If you want to get treated like a second class citizen after you make the purchase-then this is the dealership for you. As for me, I will direct my extensive network to Infiniti of Manhasset. More
