1960's Dealer "Screw YOU" Mentality when Asked for Deposit ?#?competitioninfiniti? ?#?Fail? Daughter left $100.00 deposit two weeks ago on pre-owned Infiniti at Smithtown location. When she contacted the sal ?#?competitioninfiniti? ?#?Fail? Daughter left $100.00 deposit two weeks ago on pre-owned Infiniti at Smithtown location. When she contacted the sales person (Within 24hrs of deposit) and told him she changed her mind on the purchase, he said that she would be credited her deposit - no worries. Two weeks later - same sales person is completely unprofessional and condescending to her - he actually asked her if ".. she's going to count every dollar from her refunded deposit? " and then he had the nerve to say she should thank him for all his hard work that day and be grateful that he didn't complain when she excercised her right to cancel the sale..." Really? Is that how a premium auto dealership builds goodwill and brand? If I were an auto dealer in Long Island I would call out this horrendous and sleazy dealership to all dealer associations on LI - The behavior of Competition Infiniti is exactly why the buying public would rather cut off their little finger then go to the traditional auto dealer and buy a car. Shame on you Competition Infiniti - your rudeness and disrespect is epic - even for an auto dealer! More

He took care of lease return and transferred our license playes himself. He continues to keep Intouch with us even though we purchased the SUV 7 months ago. He even arranged our initial service. It's hard to imagine buying multiple cars from one salesperson in these economic times yet I recently purchased my 4th Infiniti from Fritz Jean. I cannot say enough about the professionalism and courtesy Fritz has extended me and frankly all his customers as people I have met in the dealership had equally kind things to say. in addition, dealing with Darlene in finance and service team that looks after you after the purchase has been nothing short of terrific. Each time I have visited competition I have been warmly greeted as if they have know in me forever. I would highly recommend dealing with the entire team at competition, getting to know them and finally enjoying a car buying experience. Fritz is one of the most knowledgeable, thorough, friendly and easy to work with sales professionals that we have ever dealt with. Without exception, Fritz always gets the deal done and we drive away happy and satisfied. We have also had the pleasure of dealing with Steve LaBarbera, the sales manager, over the years. I have seen Steve do what I thought was next to impossible in getting deals done and closed, he is the master at what he does, and his leadership skills and determination clearly have been passed on to the entire sales staff. Darlene Titus, the dealership's Business Manager, always does a prompt, professional job of preparing the lease paper work, and I have also been very pleased with the Service Department over the years, especially Jan Scharwachter, Service Advisor, who is extremely professional and follows up until the service is completed and the vehicle is back in my possession. You may get anxiety when going to the dentist, but not at Competition Infiniti, I would recommend them to anyone. More
