I went to various dealerships and I was not satisfied with the process and the pitch. So much so that I actually walked out of 2 other dealerships, and delayed buying a car for another year. The first thought that comes to mind for any buyer is the headache of haggling and going through the purchase process. Paula Mattucci at Commonwealth stayed in touch, and patiently answered my questions with no pressure. I finally went in and we met the sales rep Song Taing. He was down to earth and straight forward with us. The numbers Paula quoted via email and internet were the same that Song Taing quoted. There were no hidden costs. Paula had itemized the numbers for me and Song Taing and Paula were on the same page with the figures. Their straight forward manner was much appreciated. I will recommend this dealership to all my friends. And yes they did provide a very fair price for the Honda CRV EX that I chose. Their slogan "shop us last ... you'll love us." I have to say they are right on, fair in price, down to earth, straight forward, and yes I did get the best price. I am very pleased with the entire process. Lastly Song Taing took a lot of time explaining the CRV, and even on the day I picked up the new vehicle, he explained the features and provided his best tips for the most important sections of the manual that I should focus on. More

I do not recommend Commonwealth Honda. It started nicely with their internet department: prompt and to the point responses without pushing the customer into their showroom. The price for a brand new car was with their internet department: prompt and to the point responses without pushing the customer into their showroom. The price for a brand new car was very aggressive. After confirming all the numbers that influence OTD price, I showed up at their place to get my new Honda. I met the internet department person and was transferred to a sales guy. My email exchange was printed out by Commonwealth Honda to show the agreed upon price. I was presented with the printout and asked to confirm the number. It was higher than we agreed! The reason was that the email conversation was printed only partially. Honda Commonwealth apologized, but was this an honest mistake or intentional? This is for the reader to decide. I chose to give them another chance and asked them for a trunk tray. My sales guy came back to me after talking to his manager saying that it usually costs $299, but they're willing to sell it to me for $199. In disbelief, I asked him to repeat. He confirmed the numbers. Now, I had been told by their Parts & Services just 15 minutes before that it costs $139. I left and got a better deal at Honda Gallery which, as of that morning, held a second place in my Excel spreadsheet list made of offers from 16 dealers. I had an absolutely smooth transaction over there. To sum up, I suggest considering Honda Gallery first while Commonwealth Honda should not be considered at all unless I am just a single unlucky customer. While on it, I also recommend Prime Honda where I had a positive experience 2 years ago. I did not include any names of Commonwealth Honda employees because I'm not sure if my sales guy is to blame. I'm sure he knew the price of the tray, but he had no choice but to deliver his manager's offer to me. I didn't get the manager name, unfortunately. Regarding the missing pieces in the printout, I do not feel like it's a good idea just to assume that it was the internet department deliberate decision to omit a couple of the latest emails. More

John Murray remembered me from when I bought a CRV two years prior and made sure that I got a great interest rate! I would certainly recommend Commonwealth Honda to anyone wanting to buy a car! More
My experience at Commonwealth Honda was amazing. I was absolutely floored by the experience at first and continue to be completely satisfied as I drive my Honda Insight every day. At first I was greeted by an mediocre sales rep, I believe his name was Engel? This man was about to let me walk out the door seeing as I had my heart set on the Honda Fit and they did not have what i was looking for in stock. I was then helped by the wonderful Gary K. His enthusiasm resonated with myself and my husband who were excitedly looking forward to leaving with a new Honda. Gary had asked what we ultimately wanted in our car and offered a test drive for a similar model, the Honda Insight, which succeed our requirements of good gas mileage and reliability. The entire pitch I never caught a whiff of that traditional sales man persona of a shady, money hungry, pressuring sales man. To be honest Gary seemed to genuinely care! As the test drive ensued, I began to love the car and love my experience. No question was too much for this guy, he was more than happy to engage in any request I made. As we spent a good couple hours reviewing our financing options and the logistics of the buy, myself and my husband spent that time with Gary who was just a pleasure to be around! Gary referred us to the Financing Manager John Murray who was awesome. Both very personable and friendly, the entire staff made me feel welcomed. As soon as John Murray lead us to his office he went straight to work for us. He kept us entertained as he went to battle. Although I had a good credit rating, my work, and my short line of credit made it difficult for John to complete the financing. Not a sweat for this guy! He worked immensely hard for me to walk out with this car and he got the job done with a smile on his face. I consider it a rarity for someone to do what this gentleman has done. In my eyes at least, he moved mountains for nothing in return but a smiling customer. The service was just simply amazing, no superb. I could not have asked for more from this team! I find it hard to put in words how much I appreciate these two gentleman and their efforts. I have and will continue to refer as many people as possible to your sterling place of business. As for John I must say my experience with him was like a cherry on top of a sweet deal! All together I am very satisfied and will gladly send anyone wanting a vehicle in their direction and if there was one thing I could change about my experience it would be to "shop you first, not last". But in my case, it worked. More
