My truckshopping experience at Colonial Motors was great thanks to Mike Derr. They have a quality product (Tundra), a low pressure atmosphere and it is priced below comparable GM and Ford models (which surp thanks to Mike Derr. I recently found myself in the market for a new SUV and was highly interested in the Toyota product, and in particular the 4Runner. I found my experience at Colonial to be absolutely top notch. My main poi was highly interested in the Toyota product, and in particular the 4Runner. I found my experience at Colonial to be absolutely top notch. My main point of contact was Trista Robertson, whom I found to be personable and well aware of the product she is selling. If she didn't know the answer, she found it, and I really appreciated that she didn't try to "fake it". She is definitely in the right job and clearly enjoys her work. There was never a moment of pressure, and she was quite patient with me as I asked question after question. Her follow-up across my experience was spot-on, and I was kept completely informed as they searched to find the exact vehicle that I wanted. I also had the chance to speak with Dan Paris and Marty Hemmes. On my first visit to the dealership I felt that I was presented with a very fair initial deal (based upon internet research for the car and features I wanted). I was clear that I wanted them to give me their best bottom-line price up front to avoid a protracted negotiation. Not prepared to make a deal on my first visit, and totally unprompted, Marty offered that they were only profiting by about $700 on the price (I never asked the amount of profit). I mention this because I was very happy not only with the initial deal, but that Marty was fully honest with his statement. When I returned the second time to Colonial Marty wasn't present, but Dan presented me with an even more attractive purchase price on the same vehicle but with different options. In short, without any back and forth negotiation, these guys hit it out of the park and established their integrity after the first visit. By comparison, i visited another dealer in the Pittsburgh area and issued the same challenge: give me your best price on the initial offer. That offer was several hundred dollars higher from what i was offered at Colonial. When I suggested to this second dealer that I thought there was significant room to offer a better price I was told that they were already not making money on the vehicle - something that I knew was not accurate. I don't play the game where I run from one dealer to the next trying to lower the deal price by saying, "well, this dealer has offered me 'x'". I use the above method to get a feel for the integrity of the dealership, which to me translates to how that dealer will operate after the sale, and in the unlikely event that there is a significant quality problem with the vehicle. Needless to say, I did not return to that dealer. I am completely happy with every experience at Colonial. In fact, I had a ton of fun across the entire experience. I highly recommend that you visit and ask for Trista, she really is great. And she is supported by a great team (Marty and Dan). Thanks guys, for a great experience! More

We dealt with trista mostly, she was very helpfull. She treated us as she would want to be treated.She knows her product and if she does not know for sure she told you so and got answer for us.
