This is our second Highlander and we love them. Sue sold them both to us. She is very friendly and professional and I would highly recommend her to our friends who are looking for a vehicle. Jason is the type of salesman you really want to deal with. He was very knowledgable about Toyota& helped us pick a Toyota that met our payment range. I had a great experience with Colonial Toyota. We first dealt with Jason, and went back in one day expecting to deal that night through him. Yes, it does have a HEMI" From start to finish this was the absolute best car buying experiance I have ever had. Like most people today I have had quite a few credit issues in the past so I wasnt looking forward to negotiating a car purchase. My wife and I started our car search with several small less known dealers thinking an older higher milage vehicle would be all we could afford or even qualify for. The first dealer we dealt with almost sold us a 13 year old truck at a 22% interest rate. I know that sounds crazy however sometimes desperation can talk you into doing things you normally wouldnt do. The look on my wifes face as we looked down at the offer was more than I needed to politely decline and leave. I really did like the truck but not enough to sleep in it. After this I started reading up on loan types, financing, and what types of things to avoid when buying a used car. There are alot of articles out there on this topic and almost all of them portray car saleman as dishonest and if your not careful they will rip you off. They would also go on to explain what information not to give a salesman and what questions not to answer when looking at a car. After visiting several web sites and reading dozens of articles I felt I was prepared to get back to the car hunt with a better understanding of negotiation. There are several car dealers in Indiana and its close to our home so we set out the following Saturday morning with the intention of stopping at several so we could get better idea of what is out there as well as the best starting price. I was looking at auto trader on my phone as my wife made a b-line straight to Colional Toyota. We test drove a Toyota Tundra there years ago and she really liked it even though we ended up buying a Jeep Grand Cherokee. At first I thought this was a waste of our time because I didnt see anything on the lot that I considered "something I could afford", but I decided to at least look around since we were already there. After looking around the lot for a few minutes Sue walked up and introduced herself and asked if there was anything she could help us with. As I said earlier there werent any trucks on the lot that I could afford so I told her I was just looking. She then asked what we were looking for. Now according to everything I read im not supposed to divulge any information on price or monthly payment but there was nothing I could afford anyway so I told her I wanted a full size truck and the most I could possible spend. Now im waiting for her to start laughing or faint but instead she said "OK, lets see what we can do". We looked a couple trucks on the lot but she wasnt showing me a truck with everything I needed because she could only work with what we told her we wanted. I decided that what I had read just didnt make sense, how could someone find us a truck with everything we wanted if we couldnt tell her what were looking for. Sue Cunningham was absolutely amazing once we sat down and went over exactly what we were looking for and the budget we needed to do it in. She knew everything possible about every truck we looked at or test drove and was able to immediately answer any questions we had. Even though they didnt have exactly what we needed Sue was able to find us a truck that had everything we wanted and more and had it brought to the dealership so we could test drive it. Sue as well as the finace team at Colional motors are second to none. I still cant beleive how far above and beyond everyone went to help us get what we wanted and still stay in budget. I know this is more background than just the events at the dealership but I think regardless if your looking for a new or used car the buying experiance starts when you decide to start looking, not when you walk onto the lot. Before you even leave the house you have a general idea what your looking for and at least a reasonable monthly payment figure. The best advise I can give if your in the market for a new or used car is to stop in at Colional Toyota look around. If you are honest and let them know exactly what your looking for and your budget they will absolutely do everything possible to get you into the car you want that will fit your budget. You dont have anything to lose, there is no pressure to buy or sign anything. It may just turn into a great car buying experiance for you as well. More

This is the fifth car that we purchased from Colonial Motors and our second from Toyota Colonial. Trista listened very carefully to what we wanted in a new car. She suggested various models to meet our needs and precisely explained the variations between the models. Trista answered questions with precise knowledge of each model as we progressed in making our decision. She suggested the various models for test drives so that we could experience the difference between the models and these test drives enabled us to make an excellent choice in purchasing a car to fit our needs. Trista also used the members of the Toyota Team, Marty and Dan, who were excellent in helping us to complete the purchase. Trista's professionalism and excellent work continued as she contacted our insurance company in order to transfer it to our new car. Her expertise enabled the process of paper signing and ownership of the car to be an easy paced, highly informed experience. Although the dealership was closing at 4pm on Saturday, Trista never rushed us and explained all paperwork and answered all questions in a knowledgeable and understandable manner. Trista, then, sat in our new car with us and thoroughly explained the features of the car (especially the new technology). Her knowledge amazed us. There was not anything that she did not know. Trista had also taken the time to place tabs in our car's owner manual to indicate the newer features of the car. Trista always goes the extra mile or two, especially with the use of the technology and setting the features of Entune. She answered every question that we had and we never felt rushed. Trista's full attention was focused on making us satisfied customers. Afterwards, Trista retrieved the door opener that we left in our trade-in and helped us to order the cargo net for our car. Our overall experience with Trista was EXCELLENT! Trista has the skill of connecting with customers in order to meet their needs. She listens carefully and her knowledge of the models enables her to present the customer with a variety of options to meet their needs. Her professionalism carries through the entire sale experience and the customer drives away feeling very please with the purchase. We have already recommended Trista to a friend. We recommend Trista without reservation. Trista is a professional whom we can trust and whom we know listens to our car needs. We wish her the best in her career in Toyota sales.
