My Family owns 4 Liberty’s, 2 Wranglers, 2 Ram 1500s and Cherokee between the seven of us. I was looking to buy a 2013 leftover Ram 1500 model and through research on the internet Colonial South had the mo Cherokee between the seven of us. I was looking to buy a 2013 leftover Ram 1500 model and through research on the internet Colonial South had the most left. Went there on March 7th and picked out a truck, put down a deposit, and signed a purchase agreement. Once that was done I went straight to my credit union and was approved for my loan. Once home I emailed the finance person and told them I would be in on Thursday March 13th with the remainder of the money. I went in that Thursday and paid for the truck and was told it still had to be registered and the truck would be driven down to me the next day. On Friday they never showed up so I had to call them and they told me it would be one more day due to short staffing. Saturday came and went with no call from the dealer and they are not open on Sunday. Now it’s Monday March 17th, I am working 7pm to 7am night shifts and proceed to call as soon as I wake up. I was told my truck was still not registered and I would have to wait one more day. At that point I was getting very upset so I talked to the sales manager for reassurance that I was actually going to get my truck the next day; he told me that I absolutely would. Tuesday came and went and I did not receive a call and more importantly my truck. On Wednesday I called and was told I needed to come back in to sign a paper for my trade in. This was six days after I had already paid for the truck, was reassured by numerous people that I would have my truck day after day, and they just told me I needed to come sign something else. I went in on Thursday March 20th and signed the paper and was told I would get my truck that day by two different people. I told them I absolutely needed it to bring my tools down Cape Cod for a construction job on Friday. Again I never received my truck or even a phone call. I had to borrow someone else truck and incontinence them just so I could go to work. Finally the truck was dropped off on Friday March 21st. I was paying on my loan and insurance for 8 days without having the vehicle I purchased in hand; I had to borrow someone else’s vehicle just to get to work ; I was treated with complete disrespect from Colonial South and was not even asked what could be done to make up for my lost time and money. I have never had worse service in my life! My family will never buy from a Colonial dealership again and friends will be told of what I had to deal with so they do not have to go through the same course of events. More
I travel a lot for work and I was looking for something comfortable to drive with leg room, the knowledgeable staff pointed me in the direction of jeep grand Cherokee srt, it's loaded to the max and turned comfortable to drive with leg room, the knowledgeable staff pointed me in the direction of jeep grand Cherokee srt, it's loaded to the max and turned out to be exactly what I was looking for, along with the great deal I got, the service was excellent and they didn't try and push me to something else. Everyone at the dealership was very professional and courteous. My previous car was totaled so I had to purchase a replacement vehicle. Mike went above & beyond to help me with ever question I had & with all the problems my insurance was giving him before I can drive off with my new car. I love the car that mike had showed me & everyone else loves my SUV. I have been recommending mike to everyone who I talk to about cars cause he was just such a helpful & understanding worker & I only was able to enjoy the pleasure of him for a week. Having a terrible experience with Central Jeep in Raynham, (I had my Jeep towed there and they wouldn't even look at it!) Colonial in Dartmouth was willing to help me out with my Wrangler. {Re-towed Raynham, (I had my Jeep towed there and they wouldn't even look at it!) Colonial in Dartmouth was willing to help me out with my Wrangler. {Re-towed from Central to Colonial) The service dept. took me in immediately. They were so courteous and prompt, I felt like I was the only customer there. While I was waiting for my Wrangler I asked salesman Derek Harris about a newer Wrangler that was on the lot. He was helpful and goes out of his way for the customer with no pressure. Being in a love/hate with my current jeep I walked away. General manager , Mark Babineau called me at home Sunday evening as a follow up and wanted to be sure my experience at Colonial was up to par. George in Finance and Brandon Rodriguez in sales got me the deal of the century. This is my second dart. Its not that the first one wasn't a great car its just that 2014 Dodge Dart is the top of the GT. Absolutely Beautiful car. Loaded with everything. LOVE IT !!! Brandon was excellent in Sales and George was simply a wizard to get me the deal that he did. With No money down and only making 14 payments on the First Dodge Dart SXT, George lowered my monthly payments by $30. He lowered my interest rate by a whopping 7%. In a Word, Impressive !! It was easily the best, most headache-free experience I've ever had buying a car. Derek, the salesman, was extremely helpful in helping me figure out what I wanted without ever making me feeling like I've ever had buying a car. Even after taking a considerable amount of his time & going on several test drives, I never felt as if he was trying to push any vehicle that I truly was not interested in just to make a sale. When it was time to negotiate price, Mark, the general manager, was very straight forward. I told him where my price range was, and he got us there with the vehicle I wanted (one that I honestly thought was going to be out of my price range), without the usual haggling to try to get more out me than I wanted to spend. Overall, I will definetly recommend this dealership to others, and will most deflinetly work with them again when the time comes for a new vehicle. More
