Lack of communication. I emailed and texted to replace the state inspection sticker that did not get completed. I called the day before to make sure the car would be ready. I emailed and texted to replace the state inspection sticker that did not get completed. I called the day before to make sure the car would be ready. After waiting on hold I was told that everything was done and I could pick up the next day. When I arrived the service writer had no idea who I was, where the work order was and where the car was located. I found the windshield was replaced under warranty. That was good because it had been leaking for 2 years. Whoever replaced the windshield put the same expired inspection sticker on the glass. My problem is not just with the dealer but with Ford Motors. Soon after delivery the Sync display went out. No maps or backup camera for over a year. I damaged the rear bumper as a result. I went to Tasca Ford in Seekonk, MA. They told me the displays were on backorder. They never called me back. Good thing because their mechanics are parts changers not technicians. The display just needed a software upgrade. I was delighted to see the leaking windshield was on recall. First Ford in Fall River, MA said I must of had the windshield replaced and that was why it was leaking. They never called me back. So I reached out to Flood Ford in East Greenwich, RI. Peter Renolds the service writer told me they only work on cars they sold. At this point I came the the realization that I purchased the wrong brand and from a dealer that was an hour away. I had no choice but to go back to the purchase dealer. I did it on line and asked of the oil change and both recalls could be done in the same day. No one retuned my request. Thinking the worse I rented another car just incase. Sure enough it could not be done. Three weeks later I returned for my car ready or not. What was the worse that could happen? The windshield had been leaking for over two years. I’ve gotten use to the smell of mold and scraping frost on the inside. Good news was everything got done. I had to stay longer for the inspection sticker but it was worth it. Bad news is I’ll consider a better car manufacturer on my next car. This will do for now. More
