Friendly, good sense of humor, knowledgeable, great communications! This is still a difficult time for Airstream due to staffing and parts shortages lingering from the pandemic, and we appreciate the Colonial team doing their best to keep us on the road! More
We had a very disappointing service experience with Colonial Airstream today. One year ago we purchased a new Airstream Interstate Motor Home. We paid the sticker price, with no complaints. We live Colonial Airstream today. One year ago we purchased a new Airstream Interstate Motor Home. We paid the sticker price, with no complaints. We live in Arizona, but spend our summers at the Jersey shore. When we arrived in NJ, in June, we called for an appointment for two minor repairs under warranty. We explained the problems in detail and sent pictures. The first appointment they had was supposedly more than two months out. They assured us the parts necessary for the repairs were in stock. Today we were there prior to our 8:30 am appointment. In spite of being fist in line, the service writer took two customers ahead of us, and it was 9:30 before we even got checked in for a two hour appointment. We had also asked them to change the oil in the coach and generator and perform the annual service on both. When my wife asked the service writer if they checked and topped off the other fluids, she responded, laughing at us and saying: “No, we don’t do that!” Four hours later, the service writer told us that the oil change was done, but they didn’t have the parts for second warranty repair, but she would check with the parts department to see how log it would take to get them. We walked around the coach and discovered another part that had been broken during the repair and oil change. Although she did not make us aware of the broken part, she immediately acknowledged they would fix that as well at no cost, but said they would have to order that part as well. An hour later, she still had not checked with parts as to how long it would take to get the missing parts. Finally, after talking to her supervisor, Colonial agreed to send us the repair parts so we could then schedule the warranty repairs with a different facility in Arizona since getting the parts would take at least 60 days. The bill for the two oil changes: over $600! Outrageous. And, the service writer was rude and dismissive during our entire encounter. I realize that service is not very important to many businesses today, but if you choose to deal with Colonial Airstream, be prepared for a less than enjoyable experience. We will not be going back. Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined the horror I would experience at this dealership. I don’t know where to begin so I will share the latest. I purchased my 2021 Globetrotter at Colonial horror I would experience at this dealership. I don’t know where to begin so I will share the latest. I purchased my 2021 Globetrotter at Colonial and it was winterized last October. They improperly winterized it and I have a leak in my water heater as a result. They initially agreed to pay for the repair then decided not to and used the excuse that I had my camper winterized with air vs antifreeze bc I was storing it in a warmer climate in Virginia. This is absolute idiocy, the most ludicrous gaslighting statement. I chose air winterization bc 1.) It is the recommended method of winterization in the Airstream manual and 2) bc I did not want antifreeze in my lines. Why would I pay to winterize my camper if I didn’t want to protect pipes from bursting??? And *newsflash* it goes below freezing in Virginia! The management are greedy liars. Now I have a $1000 repair that they are refusing to pay for. This situation is just one of my horrible experiences here, I have too many to fit in this review. More
I have never been more disappointed, particularly as a repeat customer with Patrick and Colonial. We put a deposit on a new Airstream (our second with Colonial). Five months later they notified us that repeat customer with Patrick and Colonial. We put a deposit on a new Airstream (our second with Colonial). Five months later they notified us that they couldn't deliver the unit they sold us. Not a problem, supply chain, we get it. Just return our deposit. Crickets...... Not even a simple response as to when when we would get our money back. Instead, the only real response we received was that they may have other units available. I'm not an attorney but I'm pretty sure that's the definition of bait and switch. It is pretty simple, we put down a deposit for a specific Airstream. They then told us they couldn't deliver it and now they won't return our deposit. I would think long and hard about doing business with them. They'll tell you you're family and then won't return a call or respond to an email, despite the fact they're holding your money. More
We are now proud owners of a 2022 Flying Cloud. From purchase through delivery, our experience at Colonial was ideal. Pat and Nick handled the sales portion, Steve Tucci the paperwork (easy and smooth) purchase through delivery, our experience at Colonial was ideal. Pat and Nick handled the sales portion, Steve Tucci the paperwork (easy and smooth), Kevin Amaro our thorough delivery orientation, and last but not least, Joe Welches with the most excellent hands-on practice of hooking the camper to our tow vehicle. Needless to say, we are looking forward to new adventures in our Airstream knowing that a lot of time and attention were put into ensuring our camper is ready to go. We are also looking forward to working with Colonial to keep our Airstream in good order as we put time and miles on this new and exciting journey. Best Regards to all, Bud & Jeannie More

Our experience started in November 2020 with a visit to Colonial to make a final decision on a new RV. We walked in the door and was greeted by Patrick Botticelli, the famous Colonial Airstream You Tube v Colonial to make a final decision on a new RV. We walked in the door and was greeted by Patrick Botticelli, the famous Colonial Airstream You Tube video guy! We made the decision, the order was placed and seven months later Patrick called to tell us our Globetrotter 23 was in and ready for pickup. From the sale, to the service dept calling to make sure accessories were chosen, to the delivery walk through, final purchase document process, the ability to spend the first night at the dealership to ensure everything was working well, to the next morning "dump station" experience (we wanted to dump our tanks to be empty for a few days camping and as I pulled up, a service tech walked out and said 'I'll dump that for you'. I insisted I do it, he insisted he would as a final Thank You for purchasing a new Airstream from Colonial. Unbelievable!), our experience was exceptional. More
