I cannot recommend this dealership highly enough - specifically Perry Henry (sales) and Zach Wilson (finance)! This is the 3rd Nissan dealership I had spoken to in the Jacksonville area. I knew what I specifically Perry Henry (sales) and Zach Wilson (finance)! This is the 3rd Nissan dealership I had spoken to in the Jacksonville area. I knew what I wanted, and I knew what I could afford, and I did my research beforehand. The first thing that brought me here was, unlike the other dealerships I spoke with, Coggin wasn't charging a markup on MSRP (the other dealerships called this a "market adjustment fee") due to the low inventory. Every other dealership was charging $3,500 minimum, on top of the base price (non-negotiable). But once I started working with Perry, I can't imagine having gone anywhere else (regardless of whether they charged that fee or not)! I would say about 80% of the deal was done via text, and one or two phone calls. He was super responsive, and extremely patient. As a single girl, I was dreading the process of car shopping. I have had some pretty bad experiences in the past, but this could not have been more different! There was no pressuring sales tactics, no unsolicited phone calls, and one of the first conversations I had on the phone, Perry was so candid and upfront, that it immediately put me at ease about the whole process (up till that point, my experience with every other dealership I'd worked with was making me question if I should just put this off, and wait another year or two). Once the papers were signed and I was waiting for the car to come in on the truck, I think I must have texted Perry every day checking to see if it was in yet. And on days I didn't text him, he'd send a quick update letting me know that he checked the lot that morning, and had his eye out for the delivery truck. I will 1000% go back to these guys in the future if/when I'm in the market for a new car again. The whole experience was so easy and straightforward, and honestly, enjoyable! And I didn't think I would EVER refer to new car buying as enjoyable! More
My experience at Nissan on Atlantic is always pleasurable. I love the professional attitude of the service center and the service advisors. Richard Wright was my sales man and he did an absolutely fabulous job. I bought a new 2021 Nissan sport rogue from him and he is gone above and beyond to make things right for me. The sticker price vs the actual price charged at checkout, was much higher then is standard. It was partially my fault for not being able to be with my wife, who bought a Toyota Sienna from them. The sticker price was 20500 but then when my wife went to purchase the vehicle all the"Dealer fees" we're over $4000 in the end after lots of haggling my wife got it down 2 $23,790 I spoke to my wife over the phone about this as it was happening. I said it was acceptable because it was a newer 2018 Toyota Sienna with only 25,000 miles but when my wife brought it home there was significant scratches dings and general body damage that my wife unfortunately did not pay much attention to. With all the scratches and dings it was by no means a good deal and the way they inflated the dealers fees. I feel they took advantage of my wife, and it makes me never want to shop there again! More
21 yr old daughter was told she had to use debit card to place hold on car that they indicated would be 6500 - by time they finished it was almost 9000 - we went ahead and placed hold because car was in goo place hold on car that they indicated would be 6500 - by time they finished it was almost 9000 - we went ahead and placed hold because car was in good condition but way overpriced now - purchased car from other dealer that didn’t inflate - went back to have “what we were told was run as a credit” reversed - they voided it after sitting us down with finance manager. Well they LIED they ran as debit and now she has to wait 7-10 days - this is a college kid your dealership took advantage of and she can’t afford to be 500 short - Buyer BEWARE - ps the car we got - same condition - same year - way less mileage!!!! And much much better PRICE. More
Repairs not handled at all i have contacted them several times, the service dept., sales man., gen. manager and no one will call me back regarding the problems with my vehicle, i have contacted them several times, the service dept., sales man., gen. manager and no one will call me back regarding the problems with my vehicle, i have asked to cancel my warranty also and they have not responded to me on anything in 3 1/2 months. Not any response back. Please help. More
