Nelly Morallo was a very engaging salesperson. She did complete all of the promises made prior to my purchase. She did make herself available when my car was being serviced to take me to work. When the car took longer than expected the courtesy van did not work out, so Nissan rented me a nice car until my Nissan Z was ready for pick-up. I have been living in Jacksonville, Florida for 25 years and have only dealt with this particular dealership. I have purchased 5 Nissan vehicles from them and have been happy with each and every purchase. I also purchased the extended warranty and know that this dealership will continue to be helpful like they have been in the past. If you need to buy a car, ask for Nelly Morallo. I would recommend her to anyone that anticipates buying a Nissan vehicle from this dealership. She will make sure you get the deal that make you happy. More
I recently leased a 2011 Rogue. The salesman who helped me was Richard Wright. We started the transaction on the phone and he called back every time he said he would with helpful information. He made sure I understood all of the terms. Everything went smoothly until it was time to sign the papers. The finance person I dealt with was Nick (not sure of last name). It took much longer than seemed necessary. To be fair, he was having some problems with his computer. The bottom line was, even though I had already been approved, it took at least another hour to sign a few papers. Then, he forgot one and came to get me as we were walking out the door to leave. Then, on the Monday, following the Friday purchase, he called and said one more piece of paperwork had not been signed. He wanted me to come in that day and sign. I live and work 30 miles from Jacksonville and this was not possible. At my suggestion, he faxed it to me and I faxed it back. After another call from him, he requested that I mail the original. I would go back to this dealership, because the purchase was for the most part acceptable, but I would not want to deal with the same finance person. Also, Richard Wright called to follow up today (1 week later) and make sure I didn't have any questions and that I was happy with the purchase. More
Nelly Baldwin of Nissan on Atlantic made my experience the absolute best I have had thus far. I am a military man and have been traveling throughout the world for 21 years. I have brought 5 cars from 4 different dealerships and this beats them all by miles. Our sales rep Nelly has made the whole experience so personal that we have told our family and friends to go there first. She has personally called us 4 -5 times to make sure the car was good and our experience was fine. Being that this was a car for my wife and kids it makes me feel good to know they are safe and the people who sold us the car care also. This was my wife’s second car from this dealership and we will always go there. I have so much confidence in them that my daughter’s graduation gift will come from there also. The entire experience was fast, fare, respectful and they genuinely cared. Thanks Nelly we really appreciate your continued support. took my daughters 2009 nissan versa to service dept.for cranking problem.(bad battery)after 11/2 hours to test they said battery was installed and car was ready.while waiting watching employees they all se cranking problem.(bad battery)after 11/2 hours to test they said battery was installed and car was ready.while waiting watching employees they all seemed to just be going through motions so i decided to xx battery before leaving.neg cable was so loose it came right off.told service writer(joe)and he had technician tighten cable.asked to speak to service director(jim jernigan).after telling jim what happened his reply was that they install 200 batteries a month and things happen.my daughter is 16 yrs old and i bought her a new car because i wanted her safe as possible.thier cavalier attitude to this is very concerning.needless to say no more coggin automotive for any of my automotive needs. every time i go up there, the customer service was not every time i go up there, the customer service was not there. i had my oil changed there once, they spilled oil all on top of the engine and didn`t c every time i go up there, the customer service was not there. i had my oil changed there once, they spilled oil all on top of the engine and didn`t clean it up. i was looking at buying a car two years ago. all the sale people was pushy and rude. i when to the other side of twon to buy the same car and treated better. i went yesurady to canseled my extended warrenty. i was treated rude, sat in the show room for 45 mins. for one person who had an adatude. just to be told i had to see another person. she walked up with andatude and said what do you want? gave us the paperwork and walked off to help someone else. when we where done with the paperwork, she was gone. and this other person said he would take it. no hi how you doing who he was. when i aksed him if that all the paperwork i needed i got more attadue from him. and i was told if they needed anymore they would let us no. i would tell others to stay clear of this dealership. My overall experience with Coggin Nissan Atlantic was very, very good. Lee was beyond accomodating - making sure I was completely happy with the car I chose (even making me test drive 2 different vehicl very, very good. He was sure to point out all the vehicle features, answered questions in a timely manner, and even wouldn't allow me to drive away until I adjusted the mirrors (and tuned in my radio station) so I wouldn't be "tempted" to learn to do so as I was driving...LOL). In fact, everyone I dealt with at the dealership was very friendly and accomodating. We are very happy with our purchase and are really enjoying driving our new car. Thanks for everything, Coggin! Mr. Nesbitt contacted me quickly and got some more information and then called me back several times to make sure that he had what I was looking for at the dealership. We closed a lease deal that same afternoon (within 3 hours). Mr. Nesbitt was extremely friendly and helpful. The dealership gave me a good deal on my lease, but did not give me a very good deal on the trade-in value of my car (which I guess is common). I brought my 2003 Nissan Altima from Coggin about 3 years ago. Over the past few months I have been having issues with performance. My car would "jump" when I was riding along, almost felt as though it was ago. Over the past few months I have been having issues with performance. My car would "jump" when I was riding along, almost felt as though it was was trying to slip out of gears. At the same time my car started to stall out on me. First time I dismissed it, later that week it happened again in a parking lot, I was close to being rear-ended. We dropped it off on the evening of Wed, August 1st. My husband and I were dealing with Shawna B. She told us about the recalls that were on the car. We had no idea. She knew that we were leaving Friday afternoon to go to my sister in-law's graduation. Shawna said it was fine to go ahead and do the ECM reprogram and that they would wait on replacing the rear crossmember. This would insure that we would be able to pick up the car on Friday. She said anytime after 2pm was fine. We get there and it is not complete, they went ahead and decided to replace the rear crossmember. When asked how long, we were told it wasn't going to be complete for at least 3 hrs. So, we were provided with a rental car, okay. Advised them we could pick up the car Saturday afternoon, they said it would be fine, the keys would be with somebody in sales. When we got there, nobody had the keys, nobody knew to expect us... Inconvienced again because of lack on communication on the service departments end. So Shawna comes up there, gets us the keys. Fine, we were on our way. Funny thing is, after all of this the problem is still existing. I have called Nissan in Orange Park, they will be able to look at it tomorrow morning. That leaves me without any transportation today. I am missing work, losing money because of the lack of service I have recieved from Coggin Nissan. More
