Disappointing is an understatement go somewhere else This person was not the key focus of my bad experience but he made it worse with his attitude. The dealership in general has issues with used cars apparently i'm not the only one. I purchased a 2015 Jeep Patriot here and the SAME DAY I took it home and the BUMPER was falling off when I got there - because there were no screws on the right side. I also come to find out the car wasn't even cleaned - just wiped down. I called the dealership to see if they could help me - they said "take it to Jeep." You have a warranty with them. OK, hold on a second. You want me to take a car I just bought from you to another dealership, but what about the extended warranty I just purchased? Guess I just don't matter.. Anyhow, I had to wait a week and take it to Jeep. It took Jeep the entire day to put in a few screws and then charge me 80 dollars. I figured, OK i'll take the receipt to Coggin to see if they can refund me what I just spent getting screws put in. Nope. After waiting 25 minutes and dealing with multiple people to get to the "Director of Used Cars" he finally sat me down and we talked about it - and he really didn't even listen to me. He offered to "fill up my gas tank." The nerve of these people to treat me like this after the time and energy I've spent cleaning up their mess. YES it was THEIR mess... Jeep said that Coggin DID NOT INSPECT THE VEHICLE. Ok, i know that's not a lot of money 80 dollars isn't much.., and I realize this is a used car, but it's the principle of the matter. You keep treating people like this then don't expect to get sales. ESPECIALLY ME. I'm a social media reviewer. I literally have thousands of people on my contacts. I am a GUIDE for the city of Jacksonville. Sure, I'm upset - but what do you expect? I emailed the general manager and I have yet to hear back from him. I WANT MY MONEY BACK FOR THE FIX AND MY CAR CLEANED - the way it should have been in the first place. It's the ethical thing to do, it's the right thing to do. If they can do that then we'll see about resolution. More

Not helpful - No follow through I brought my 2014 Cross Cabriolet in because my passenger front leather seat was discolored and bubbled by the center seam. Chris from service told me to bring it in so he can look at it. I asked what is the best time - he said anytime that afternoon. I went there and he looked at it and said that he had to have Jason, Service Manager, look at it and that Jason just left for lunch. I said I would wait. After 90 minutes CJ told me that it wouldn't be covered (even though I only have 25,000 miles on my car) because there is only a 12 month warranty on the seats. He also kept telling me that I must have spilled some chemicals on the seat for it to look the way it did. I kept telling him that NO I didn't spill anything on the seat and that no one hardly sits on the passenger side and this shouldn't be happening. He said he had the interior service people look at it and they said I had to have spilled something. I asked to speak to them. They told me that the seat shouldn't be wearing like this and it looks like the leather wasn't sealed correctly. Because of what they they said and me asking for them to at least fix the damaged area, CJ took me to the car detail guy and had him "fix it". The stuff that was put on over the damage never dried so I contacted Jason and drove in for him to take a look at it. He took pictures of the seat and said he would send them off to Nissan and would get in contact with me in a couple of days. We also noticed that the leather wasn't looking good by the other seams. The stuff that was put on was removed and the damage was larger and farther into the leather. I gave him my email address and asked him to send me a copy of the Nissan email. After a week of not hearing anything I called Jason. He said he received an email back from Nissan saying they wouldn't cover the seat. Once again I made sure he had my email address and asked for a copy of the emails. I also told him that the damage to the leather is worst because of the "detailing" and I would like them to repair the damaged part of my seat. He said he would set up an appointment for someone to work on the seat and send me a copy of the emails. It has been a week and I haven't been called or emailed. I can't help but feel that they are throwing out empty promises and think that if they just keep stringing me along I will go away. Here is the thing, I am not going anywhere. I want the leather on the passenger seat fixed!! More

Worse car buying experience EVER!!! Firstly purchased a vehicle everyone was so helpful and concerned and etc but the minute I walked out the door with the keys everything changed!!! When I purchased the vehicle I purchased an extended warranty but had to come back to resign some papers cuz the original bank didn't approve me (whatever) so didn't look at this papers cuz was told just to sign here initial here and etc so go to get a service and I'm told my total is like $100 I asked about my service plan I purchased they don't see it in the system. So I say whatever I'm a mechanic I'll just service my own car from now on. They beg me no please this service is on us and the next one is free. Next service I come and get it done I have things broken in my car and after 2000 miles my maintenance light and my service engine soon light comes on. It's sooooooo much more I can say about Coggin Nissan but I don't think there is enough characters in this review but bottom line worse car experience ever and lack of concern from every employee I ever dealt with. Wish I could talked to Mr Coggin himself he would be very disappointed but anyways you know what they say you live and you learn and I learned to never buy another car from Coggin Nissan on Atlantic Blvd More
