Nelly was very knowledgeable and very patient with us while we decided on which vehicle we wanted to purchase. We have bought many cars in our lifetime and always dread going into the finance office. This time was the exception. A gentleman named Chris came out to meet us and explained what the process was and promised he would get us in the office within 15 minutes. (I've heard this before). 12 minutes later we were in his office completing our paperwork. He made a few recommendations and we were done in about 25 minutes. That is the quickest we ever got out of a dealership. It is obvious Nelly and Chris have done this for a while. I would highly suggest stopping in to see them if you are in the market for a. vehicle. And they gave me more for my trade than I thought possible, even though I bought a $20k car they wouldn't even fill up the gas tank seeing as the gas light was on after a test drive. Pretty much dropped all my money trying to make a deal. Telling them this would leave me in a bind they didn't care More
Pushy Service Department I have taken my car to their service department for every oil change since I've purchased the car. Every time I ask for an oil change and tire rotatio I have taken my car to their service department for every oil change since I've purchased the car. Every time I ask for an oil change and tire rotation and I tell them "that is all and nothing more". And yet the service advisor come back suggesting that I purchase other services. When I refuse the offer he makes comments like, "we'll when it goes bad don't get upset with us", or "just remember, we warned you". This makes me feel very uncomfortable and I can't help but wonder if they actually do something to the car. I take my car there for services because I purchased it there. I'm really considering taking my car to other places for those services. If this continues, I am positive that I will NEVER purchase another vehicle from Coggin Nissan again. More
The worst customer service experience I've ever had! The worst customer service experience I have ever had with any company I have ever done business with!!! I just picked up my car today, Monday 1/2 a The worst customer service experience I have ever had with any company I have ever done business with!!! I just picked up my car today, Monday 1/2 after having dropped it off for a 7:30 AM appointment on 12/29 for a scheduled service. It is a 2005 Maxima. I was told that I would get a call after lunch to pick-up the car as they had to replace spark plugs which apparently takes a little time. Having not hearing back from anyone, I called at 4:30. I was then told that they had run into some major problem at the Service Dept, and they would not be able to get to my car until the next day (Friday). There was no apology for not having given me a call, instead there was nothing but feeble excuses on why I did not get a call which I made sure to let them know how I felt. I asked how confident they were that they could get the car done on Friday, and I was told 'very'. They said I could get a loaner which I swung by to pick-up. After not hearing anything from the Dealer on Friday, I called at 2:00 and was then told that they did not get to the car, and it wouldn't be done until Saturday 12/31. Again, no apology, quite the opposite they came back with a flippant comment that 'you have a means of transportation'. So again I asked how confident they were that they would have the car done on Saturday, and again they responded' very'. I also pointed out that so far I had not received a call from the Dealership on Thursday, or Friday, and asked if I would get a call on Saturday, which they confirmed. Needless to say, I never got a call on Saturday either! Assuming the Dealership was closed on 1/1, I hoped that I would hear from someone today, Monday, 1/2. Again nothing, so I had to call at noon. I was told that the car had been finished (not sure when) and that they thought someone had called me. So I was finally able to pickup my car today 4 days later than I expected. At this point I would have expected that they would be going out of their way to try to make things right, and acknowledge the lousy customer experience they provided, but I'm guessing they really don't give a xxxx about the customer. What I was told was they gave me a new key fob at N/C which I guess I was supposed to be overjoyed with. No apology again! I then asked about my One-to-one (which I had mentioned when I dropped the car off) and I was told the same thing I was told 4 days earlier that there is only one person with access to that and they will send me something after the fact. Given my experience, I fully expect that I'll have to follow-up on this too! I had a 105K service performed which includes an oil & filter, and a tire rotation in addition to other services. The estimated cost was $574.80. I had a couple of on-line coupons that I showed the Service Advisor when I dropped the car off. One was for an Oil and Filter change for $24.95 (I was charged 34.90), the second was a graduated parts & labor bonus for $100 off on $500+ (I did get credit for this), and I also did not get any credit for not having the tire rotation done, which I told the Service Advisor I did not need with I dropped it off. I could keep going, but I think it's easy to see why I rated this service experience the worst I've ever had at any dealer. What I also did not mention is that I had purchased the car at this dealer, and have had all of my maintenance performed here, so it's also clear that they are not interested in recognizing or maintaining customer loyalty. My Service Advisor was Christopher Burrel, but it's not like I had a better experience with anyone else that I happened to speak with when I had to call 3 times just to find out what was going on with my car! When I came in, I was surprised to be able to view a few cars before being swarmed by salesman, which is something that annoys anyone (and happens at a lot of dealerships). I viewed a few cars before approaching him, and he was very eager to help, and fast to get us into a test drive. Negotiations went very smoothly, and we felt like we were given a great price. The only downside was the wait for the financial rep, which took a couple of hours due to being backed up with other sales. I recommended this dealership to my father (who test drove a Nissan Maxima the same day), as well as a few friends, so hopefully you will get a few more sales. More
Sold a car to are young daughter with bad Take your own mechanic and have them fully check any vehicle that you buy used from Coggin Nissan. They sold our daughter age 16 a car with bad tires Take your own mechanic and have them fully check any vehicle that you buy used from Coggin Nissan. They sold our daughter age 16 a car with bad tires and 3 months later she has a blowout not even driven through 3000 miles. To make matters worse they still haven't managed to get her tag on the car. Before you hand them any money make sure that you have a outside mechanic not their mechanic check your vehicle top to bottom including the tires and battery and make sure you get your tag. Will never go there again. More
I WAS BATED I'm sure this won't make it to the general manager but I think he needs to hear about my HORRIBLE experience! I am an active duty Navy Sailor and I wi I'm sure this won't make it to the general manager but I think he needs to hear about my HORRIBLE experience! I am an active duty Navy Sailor and I will make sure to tell everybody I work with NEVER to shop here. I was helped by salesman Tom who was very helpful in the beginning. You had a 2015 Nissan Armada with 38519 miles listed for $26,994.00. Tom Hong Liao worked with his sales manager to get the SUV for 27,000 out the door on Friday Aug 26. Which was my budget. This is when the problems started. I advised Tom that I could not make it to the dealership until Monday Aug 29. I realize that he could not hold the car but I took my chances. So on Monday morning I called Tom, he advised me that everything was still good to go with the SUV. I then called him again that afternoon, and Tom advised me everything was still good to go with the deal we discussed. Then one more time I called about 20 minutes before I got there. When I finally arrived I was taken to a cubical. He left my wife and I for approximately 15-20 minutes. Tom pulled up with an Armada, but not the one I drove all the way down there for. We told him the miles were too high and we wanted to see the Armada we had discussed. He walked off, and another ten minutes or so went by before I overheard them saying it had been sold. Apparently it was sold 2 days prior. Tom knew I was firm on my budget. He showed me vehicles that were several thousand above that budget. Why was I bated with a false sale? Why wasn't I notified that it was sold one of the several times Tom and I spoke? I had to pull strings to leave work early to come down there, then I had to buy dinner for my family of 5 and the gas both ways. Not to mention he completely wasted my afternoon. This lack of consideration is RIDICULOUS! I came to your dealership for one reason and was lied to the entire time. I gave Tom several chances to just tell me the SUV had sold. It's pathetic that this is how employees to conduct business. More
