My wife and I did not purchase our car in Fort Pierce so we were very anxious about bringing our car for service there. We couldn't be more surprised and happy. Bill and Bren worked as a team to find me the car I wanted and really went out of their way to find me the options and special requests I had, no other dealers in the area would even try. I had done my wanted and really went out of their way to find me the options and special requests I had, no other dealers in the area would even try. I had done my own research on the vehicle for months, but the negotiation process was painless and honest with Bill, no tricks or pushy like other dealers who wanted me to come in person before getting into any details. Bren had me go for the best test drive I had done in my life and was friendly and was not afraid to give me direct answers to my educated questions and if he didn't know the answer, he would quickly find it for me. I would also like to mention Max at the financial office who did an excellent job in doing and explaining all the paperwork and options and was not pushy upselling any "extras". They really took good care of all my concerns in a very professional way, even after the sale. I was very impressed with the overall service and this is my reason for giving the all the stars. More
On December 19, 2013 the sales associate Rafael Satler contacted me regarding a 2012 toyota RAV4 with a third row the dealership had for sale. We has asked for photos of this vehicle and he sent 4 photos contacted me regarding a 2012 toyota RAV4 with a third row the dealership had for sale. We has asked for photos of this vehicle and he sent 4 photos of this vehicle to my cellphone. The photos were mostly of the exterior and one was the interior. After speaking with this representative for quite sometime we agreed on an out-the-door price of around $19K. The next thing we talked about was the price for our trade-in, which was a 2005 Mercury Grand Marquis. Rafael told us he could not give us a price over the phone because we needed to bring the car in for their inspection. We talked about the appraisal we had for our vehicle that the dealership had online and it was quoted at above $4K. He told us that the dealership would give us this minimum price or better. We had some pictures that we took of the vehicle when we had it appraised online on a different website. We had told Rafael that we wanted $5K for the vehicle. We emailed Rafael these pictures and Rafael told me over the phone that "I talked to my manager and he said we could do it." From the very beginning of our phone conversation I had told Rafael that we live over 140 miles away and that if what we had talked about would not work out then we would not be driving there to the dealership to waste our time and money. I had asked Rafael what the condition of the RAV4 was and he said it was "good." We went to the dealership the next day and inspected the RAV4. My husband and I was shocked at the condition of the vehicle especially with it only having just over 8K miles and it being a 2012 vevicle. The vehicle had multiple scratches, dings, and damages all throughout the interior of the vehicle. One look at the inside we knew this vehicle was not maintained or taken care of. After we finished looking at the vehicle we sat down to speak with Rafael. Rafael told us our trade-in was worth $4K. We told him that their dealership quoted us at a higher price and Rafael went and spoke with his manager again and Rafael came back and told us that they would not give us more for our trade and could not give us a reason why. I told Rafael that he had said they would give us $5K for the vehicle and he looked surprised and said, "I never said that." My husband and I walked away and drove back home. We had driven 25 miles away from the dealership before they had called us back and said they would try and see if they could give us more for our trade. We spoke with Danny and he told us he would give us a call back right away. We were waiting for the phone call for about 20 minutes before I tried calling Danny back. When I had called back they said he was unavailable. I am writing to you as a disappointed and very upset consumer. I felt like our time and money was not valued at this dealership. Rafael should have acknowledged the distance we would be driving to this dealership and should have taken more time to assess the RAV4 and had been more honest with the condition of the vehicle. We should have requested more detailed photos of the vehicle as well. That was our mistake. Rafael told us everything we wanted to hear just to get our foot in the door. I felt like the representatives at the dealership didn't care or even acknowledge/appreciate the distance, time, and money we spent to go through with this deal. We felt misled and unappreciated for. We will never again look at any vehicle that this dealership has to offer. This experience has put such a bitter taste in my mouth and has led me to believe that people can actually treat their consumers this way. The reason we even looked at this dealership was because USAA recommended it through their car buying service. We will be contacting USAA and tell them of our experience. I am not looking for compensation, I am just telling you that there needs to be a change in the way this dealership deals with their potential buyers. More
